  • All About You (Hilary Duff song)

"All About You" is a song recorded by American singer Hilary Duff from her fifth studio album Breathe In. Breathe Out. (2015). The song was released on August 12, 2014 by RCA Records, as the second single following the lead single, "Chasing the Sun". Written by Duff, Kristian Lundin, Savan Kotecha, and Carl Falk, "All About You" a folk pop and pop rock song, having a banjo, handclaps, and a "heavy hand" drum as the song's instrumentation. Lyrically, the song talks about how the protagonist is so hooked on her boyfriend that she is willing to prove her true love for him anywhere.

Critics found similarities between "All About You" and songs from Taylor Swift and The Lumineers. The song became more successful than "Chasing the Sun" in Australia, where it managed to reach the top 20, the first time a Duff song had done so in nine years. Elsewhere, it had less impact, failing to enter the Billboard Hot 100 but managing to chart on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles and Top 40 Mainstream.

    All About You

    by: Nate Sallie

    I talk about the day
You walked into my life and took the shame away
    I talk about your love
It's more than I could dream of
    I talk about your face
And when I get to see it for eternity
    I talk about up above
The heavens and I wonder what they?re made of
It's easy to figure out what my life is all about
It's all about you, it's not about me
Wherever I go I want people to see
    Your light is shining
Like the sun in everything that I do
It's all about you, it's all about you
It's all about you, it's all about you
    I talk about your hands
And how they lift me up when I get under them
    I talk about your eyes
And how they always see me even through the night
    I talk about your voice
And how I hear you calling even through the noise
    I talk about your arms
And how they wrap me up and keep me safe from harm
It's easy to figure out what my life is all about
It's all about you, it's not about me
Wherever I go I want people to see
    Your light is shining
Like the sun in everything that I do
It's all about you, it's all about you
It's all about you, it's all about you
    There's no one like you
    There's no one like you
It's all about you, it's not about me
(As if you should do things my way)
It's all about you it's not about me
(As if you should do things my way)
It's all about you it's not about me
No, no, no, no, no, no, no
    Yeah , yeah
It's all about you, it's not about me
Wherever I go I want people to see
Your light is shining, your light is shining
Like the sun in everything that I do
It's all about you, it's all about you
It's all about you, it's all about you
