Ali Tabatabai, also known as "Allamah Qadi" (1285–1366 AH; 1869–1947 CE), was an Iranian alim (Islamic scholar). He was the son of Husseyn and was born in Tabriz, Iran. He was born on 29 April 1866 in Tabriz. his father Sayyed Hosein Qazi was a prominent pupil of The grand Mirza Shirazi. His maternal grandfather, Mirza Mohsen, was a great jurist.
He learned under supervision of great scholars. Some of them are as follows: Mirza Mousa Tabrizi, Muhammad Ali Qarcheh Daghi, Sayyed Hosein Qazi, Mirza Muhammad Taqi Tabrizi. Tabatabaei (Persian: طباطبایی, Ṭabāṭabā'ī) (also spelled Tabatabai, Tabatabaee, Tabatabaie, Tabatabaeyan) is a surname of Arabic and Persian origin. It is one of many families from the descendants of Hasan ibn Ali, the second imam of Shias, populated mostly in Iran, but also in Iraq, Yemen and Lebanon.

Cho Yong-Jin (Korean: 조용진), famously known as Ali (stylized as ALi), is a South Korean singer-songwriter famous for her work on Korean pop music in the early twenty-first century. Her stage name is a motif from Muhammad Ali. This is so that it can be engraved easily by the masses. Following her debut in 2009, she is primarily known for her strong vocals and her time as a contestant on the KBS program Immortal Songs 2.
