Tait's usual position is fullback but he can also cover at centre. He made his first team début for Newcastle against Cetransa El Salvador in November 2007.
Alexander "Alex" Tait (born 28 November 1933) was an English footballer who played as a centre forward. He made over 160 Football League appearances in the years after the Second World War.
