Haim (pronounced HY-əm, /ˈhaɪ.əm/, Hebrew: חיים Life and stylized as HAIM) is an American pop rock band from Los Angeles. The band consists of sisters Este, Danielle and Alana Haim, and drummer Dash Hutton. The group's pop sound on their studio work stands in contrast to the more rock-based music of their live shows.
The sisters grew up in a musical family, and began playing instruments from an early age in cover bands with their parents. They began performing as Haim in 2007, but did not seriously consider a professional career for some years. Este graduated with a degree in Ethnomusicology, while Danielle became a successful touring guitarist with Jenny Lewis and The Strokes' frontman, Julian Casablancas, on his solo tours. This led to Haim resuming as a full-time operation in 2012.
The group's first release, Forever (an EP released on a limited-time download), combined with positive reception at the South by Southwest festival, led to a deal with Polydor Records and a management deal with Jay Z's Roc Nation group in mid-2012. The band began recording material for their first album, Days Are Gone, in between touring, including appearances at the Glastonbury Festival. The album charted in the top ten in several countries, including the number one-spot in the UK, and the group had won several "best of" awards by the end of 2013. The group was nominated for Best New Artist at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards and is recording a second album.
Alanna, Alanah or Alannah is a girl's given name which has disputed origins. It can be derived either from the Old High German word for "precious" or from the Irish language term "a leanbh" or "child", in English. In Gaelic Alanna as itself is the term for "beauty" or "serenity". It's sometimes considered a feminine form of Alan.
Alana is a common female given name coming from the Goidelic/ Hawaiian community meaning fair, beautiful, offering. It also is an Ibo given name which means father land or father's land in Igbo language.
""Alana"" or ""Elana" can also be the female name in an English translation of ""Elan"" which in Hebrew means tree.
Marc Kinchen (born August 3), known by his stage name MK, is an American DJ & music producer of house music. He hit No. 1 on the US Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart in 1993 and 1994 with the songs "Always" and "Love Changes. " Lead vocals on both of those tracks were performed by Alana Simon (songs were credited to MK featuring Alana). The combo also recorded the underground house music classic anthem "Burning." "Always" peaked at No. 69 in the UK Singles Chart in February 1995. MK also hit the dance chart with "4 You," using the pseudonym 4th Measure Men.
In November 2013, his remix of Storm Queen's song "Look Right Through" was released on Defected Records/Warner Music and reached number-one on the UK Singles Chart.
Aside from his own career as a recording artist, he is also known for the remixes he produced for other artists, such as Celine Dion's single "Misled", which became the first (and only) No. 1 Billboard Dance/Club Play hit of Dion's career. His remixes of Betty Boo's single "Thing Goin' On" brought the song to No. 5 on the same chart. His remixes of "The Message" by Sofia Shinas reached No. 20 on the Dance/Club Play chart. He also produced the remixes of Jody Watley's single "Your Love Keeps Working On Me", which reached No. 2 on that chart. Latest remixes and productions include Lana Del Rey, Dev, Enrique Iglesias, Sky Ferreira, Ellie Goulding, Jamie Jones, Lee Foss, and Tricky.
This is a list of the known female Transformers in the Transformers franchise. Despite being robotic lifeforms with generally non-sexual methods of reproduction, the Transformer species has almost always been shown to include both male and female gender analogues, at least mentally if not physically. Female Transformers were originally depicted as an anomaly, specifically called out as either a thought-to-be-extinct subgroup or simply never existing in the first place. But over the course of decades, while they are still comparatively rare, they have increased greatly in numbers, prominence and overall fairness of representation, and are considered an official part of the Transformers brand in pretty much every continuity. Female Transformers are basically considered a normal part of the Cybertronian population.
The Female Autobots (known in Japan as the Woman Cybertrons and alternately known as the Fatal Furies and Elita One's Squadron) were seen in the 1985 animated television series, in which they were indicated to be rare, and believed extinct by most other Transformers. They did not appear in the American Marvel comic book series, where it was specifically stated that Transformers do not have genders. It is very clear that the difference between male and female Transformers is much more than the shape of their bodies, it is a sociocultural difference, with each "gender" possessing—in a general sense—the traits usually associated, at least partially stereotypically, with the human genders. This list also includes females of the Maximals, the Mini-Cons and other heroic factions similar to the Autobots to give a better summary of the topic.

[Music by Elenium]
Freezing but burning from inside,
The carves that you left me never healed.
Around me is the world tonight,
Can not see it, tears fill my eyes.
Lonely steps I follow, this path is touching my heart.
Like Your Immortal Kiss, your forever hurting closesness.
Darkness that took you, takes me too!
(Greed in my heart send you fading away,
Away, why death took you? Just space,
Emptyness and despair;
Bring me back your immortal love!
Falling, falling eternally.
Your arms the paradise, I once felt,
Is now just a beautiful dream.
The steps are gone so are you.
Still through the utter darkness I'd travel,
For your tears, just to see them again!
Greed in my heart send you fading away,
Away why death took you?
So close you were and then gone,
You left me Your Immortal Kiss!
As the story ends I'll see your life, passing by my soul. The tears as you
