Ajay Singh (Karnataka politician)

Dr. Ajay Singh is the current Member of Legislative Assembly of the Jewargi Constituency, in office since May 2013. Born in Gulbarga, Dr. Ajay Singh pursued M.B.B.S (1992 Batch) from M.S Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore.

After completion of his M.B.B.S degree, he founded Accident Relief Care in Bangalore in 2000. The Accident Relief Care is a service-oriented organisation providing necessary insurance to the accident victims. Till date around 50000 accident victims got benefitted from his organisation all over India.

He got involved in social service activities from 2005 onwards. He organised the first health camp at Jewargi in 2005. The health camp is being organised every year at Jewargi from 2005 onwards. Around 30,000 people got benefitted from these health camps so far. He founded "Dharam Singh Foundation", an NGO organisation in the year 2007. "Dharam Singh foundation" provides free ambulance service to the Jewargi taluka people from 2007 onwards. Presently there are 8 ambulances available round the clock for the service of Jewargi taluka people.

Ajay Singh aka Rahul Bhaiya is the son of Congress leader & Former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh & Former Union Minister for HRD Late Shri Kunwar Arjun Singh. Ajay Singh is currently serving the position of Leader in Opposition in Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly. Ajay Singh is the father of Bollywood actor Arunoday Singh

Education

Shri Ajay Singh did his schooling from Campion School, Bhopal and Graduation from the prestigious Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University. He has completed his M.A. in Economics from Bhopal University and was a Gold Medalist.
