Aikatsu!

Aikatsu! or Aikatsu! Idol Activity (アイカツ! アイドルカツドウ, Aikatsu! Aidoru Katsudō!) is an arcade collectible card game in Bandai's Data Carddass line of machines, which launched in October 2012. The game revolves around using collectible cards featuring various clothes to help aspiring idols pass auditions. An anime adaptation by Sunrise began airing on TV Tokyo from October 8, 2012. A film adaptation was released in December 2014. Three manga adaptations have been published by Shogakukan, along with four Nintendo 3DS games published by Bandai Namco Games.

Summary

The series takes place at Starlight Academy (スターライト学園, Sutāraito Gakuen), a prestigious school with both middle and high branches, where girls train to become idols and take part in various auditions. such as live, fashion show, and drama. To participate in these auditions, players use Aikatsu cards, special cards which contain digitized dresses and accessories from various manufacturers that are used in their auditions. How well they succeed is often dependent on choosing the right combination of cards. The video games cast players in the role of a new student, who must train to become an idol and reach the top.

List of Aikatsu! episodes (season 2)

The following is a list of episodes for the second season of Sunrise's Aikatsu! television anime series, which aired on TV Tokyo between October 3, 2013 and September 25, 2014. After Ichigo takes a year-long break to train in America, she returns to find another idol school, Dream Academy, has appeared, bringing with it new rivals and friends. For episodes 51-75, the opening theme is "KIRA☆Power" by Waka, Fūri and Sunao while the ending theme is "Original Star☆彡" (オリジナルスター☆彡, Orijinaru Sutā☆彡) by Waka, Fūri, Sunao, Remi, Moe, Eri, Yuna, and Risuko. From episodes 76-101, the opening theme is "SHINING LINE*" by Waka, Fūri, and Yuna, whilst the ending theme is "Precious" by Risuko, Waka, Fūri, and Mona.

The following is a list of episodes for the third season of Sunrise's television anime series, Aikatsu!, which aired on TV Tokyo between October 2, 2014 and September 24, 2015. This season focuses on Akari Ozora, a first year at Starlight Academy who seeks to become a top idol like her upperclassman, Ichigo Hoshimiya. For episodes 102-126, the opening theme is "Du-Du-Wa DO IT!!" by Ruka, Mona, and Miki from AIKATSU☆STARS! with Waka from STAR☆ANIS and the ending theme is "Good morning my dream", also performed by Ruka, Mona, and Miki from AIKATSU☆STARS! From episode 127 onwards, the opening theme is "Lovely Party Collection" by Ruka, Mona, and Miki from AIKATSU☆STARS! (with Miho, Nanase and Kana in episode 152) and the ending theme is "Tutu Ballerina" (チュチュ・バレリーナ, Chuchu Barerīna), also performed by Mona, Ruka, and Miki from AIKATSU☆STARS!
