Adrenaline (album)
Adrenaline is the debut album by the American alternative metal band Deftones, released in 1995 through Maverick Records. The hidden track on the album, "Fist", was produced by Ross Robinson while the rest of album was produced by Terry Date. "7 Words" and "Bored" were released as singles, but additional music videos were released for "Root" and fan favorite "Engine No. 9," which has been covered by Korn, Live, and Suicide Silence and is featured in the film Law Abiding Citizen. The album's cover art depicts a bulb syringe.
Recording
Regarding the recording, Abe Cunningham said, "At the time we did the first record – which I really like and think is good – you can tell the band was really young. We'd been playing most of those songs for quite a while, and we were just so happy to be making a record that we didn't really think a whole lot about making the songs better." Moreno felt that Adrenaline was recorded "really fast" and performed all his vocals live with the band in the room using a hand-held Shure SM58 microphone.

"Adrenaline" is the fifth single from American rock band Shinedown's fourth studio album, Amaryllis.

Adrenaline (novel)
Adrenaline is the first novel written by James Robert Baker (1946–1997), an American author of sharply satirical, predominantly gay-themed transgressional fiction.
History
After graduating from UCLA, he began his career as a screenwriter, but became disillusioned and started writing novels instead. After the controversy surrounding publication of his novel, Tim and Pete, he faced increasing difficulty having his work published.
Adrenaline was published in 1985 under the pseudonym James Dillinger. A story of two gay fugitive lovers on the run, it presaged the satire and drug fueled violence so prominent in his later books. Here Baker began developing the themes that dominated his following works: anarchy; angry and somewhat paranoid gay men; the dark underside of Los Angeles, juxtaposed with its sunny outward image; the hypocrisy of organized religion; anonymous sex and its implications in the age of AIDS; and homophobia and the oppression of gays in a Republican-dominated America. Its plot device of underdog characters forced into flight due to circumstances beyond their control was one Baker explored in all of his subsequent work.
Scott Brown (DJ)
Scott Alexander Brown (born 28 December 1972) is a Glasgow-born Scottish DJ and music producer, now living in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Brown produces and plays a variety of genres commonly called rave. Although he is most associated with bouncy techno, his music ranges from happy hardcore, through hard trance, to gabber. He is the founder of Evolution Records, which started in 1994.
Hardcore techno
He was heavily involved in the evolution of the UK's hardcore techno scene from the early 1990s, in particular introducing the harder-edged sounds of Belgian and Dutch techno to the UK, and taking the Scottish sounds to Europe. Brown has produced music on his own record labels (Evolution Records, Evolution Plus, Evolved, Evolution Gold, Poosh, Screwdriver and Twisted Vinyl), and under a range of monikers including Plus System,The Scotchman,Interstate, Bass-X (with his brother Stewart), and with his band Q-Tex, which was formed in 1991.

Elysium (/iˈlɪziəm/) is the eleventh studio album by English synthpop duo Pet Shop Boys. Released on 5 September 2012, it is the duo's final album with Parlophone. The album was produced during 2012 in Los Angeles by Andrew Dawson and Pet Shop Boys.
Background and release
"When we were trying to think the title I kept saying if we were George Michael we'd call this album Deep, because he tends to give things a direct title. And it is deep in terms of the sound—got a lot of sub-bass—it's sort of deep in terms of subject matter, the way it's expressed. But I think it's the Pet Shop Boys' most beautiful album."
Pet Shop Boys began writing the songs for the album during a period of five weeks in Berlin, Germany in the beginning of 2011. Most of the album was written during the Progress Live concert tour with Take That from May to July 2011. In January 2012, Pet Shop Boys went to Los Angeles to work with American producer Andrew Dawson for three months. The duo were interested in working with Dawson after seeing his name in the credits for the Kanye West albums 808s & Heartbreak (2008) and My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy (2010).Chris Lowe has described Elysium as having the same feel as Behaviour (1990), but "sonically I think it's very different." Pet Shop Boys considered Happy Sad as title of the album, but came up with the title Elysium during a walk in Elysian Park in Los Angeles. Lyrically the album can be interpreted as "about being us at our stage in our life, doing what we do", according to Neil Tennant.
