In the morning light something stirred awake
From an overcast dawn a grey doom yawned
Though a world remains as aeons pass on
The will come a day when all will be gone
One day will humble all
By dusk your world will fall
Into a womb to recreate
To turn forever and seal your fate
Time has passed for this world to heal
Nevermore will it repeal
So abandon the path you wander on
For as darkness is born so is our dawn
A black host came near
She whispered 'have no fear'
Time has come so on black wings we ride
To the end of all things, to the ancient's kings
Dark masters of light procreate with hammers of might
Stone cities rise from the ground
From a haunting silence their voices resound
Far before your race was sown
This earth belonged to the one with horns
Ruled in fairness, not in pride
No falseness was there to hide
The war reaped a fertile land
A burning hell turned the world to sand
No drop of rain fell from the sky
The leaders cowered beneath their lies
The fell consumed and abandoned hope
With burning hatred slashed their leaders throats
Nothing left but a lingering sorrow
A dead future, no more tomorrow
In this place of pain a great sadness brought the rain
And a lifeless sunset sank and sighed
After an eternity of blasting wind and ice
A parting cloud shot a ray of sun
Foreshadowing a newborn time
On the wings of destiny cries a memory lost
Who will remember tomorrow
These times gone by
