Abandon is an American Christian rock band from San Antonio, Texas. The group had five members: brothers Josh (lead vocals) and Justin Engler (guitar), cousins Stevan (guitar) and Dave Vela (drums), and Bryan Fowler (bass). They signed onto ForeFront Records in late 2007 and released the Abandon EP in July 2008. Their first single "Providence" was released to radios in August and has reached No. 7 on R&R's Christian rock charts.
The group's name was inspired by the Bible verse of Matthew 10:38, which reads "And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me."
The group of two brothers, two cousins, and friend (and former bassist) Ryan Reavis, formed as an independent band in the 2002, playing worship music at their church. In 2005 they began to play local concerts and released their first album Ambush, which was produced by the band and Tavis Wilson. Soon after the release of their second album, Who You Are (produced by Kevin Bruchert), Reavis chose to leave the band. Not long afterwards, Bruchert introduced the band to Bryan Fowler after they played at his church. Soon after, Fowler joined the band.
Abandon is the sixteenth studio album by Deep Purple released in the Spring of 1998. It was Deep Purple's second album with Steve Morse on guitar and the last one with founding member Jon Lord.
The album was followed by a successful 1998/1999 world tour which brought Deep Purple to Australia for the first time in 15 years. In 1999 a live album and DVD Total Abandon: Australia '99 recorded in Melbourne on 20 April 1999 was released.
The album title is actually a pun from Ian Gillan – "A Band On" – and the album was followed by the "A Band on Tour". Uniquely for a Deep Purple studio album, it features a reworking of a previously recorded song -"Bloodsucker" from Deep Purple in Rock (here re-titled "Bludsucker"). "Don't Make Me Happy" was mistakenly mastered in mono, and not amended on the final release. One of the two versions of the song released on single was, however, mastered in stereo.
All songs written by Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Jon Lord, Steve Morse, Ian Paice, except where noted.
Oficial Spartan is the current ring name of Victor Manuel Montés (born July 29, 1975 in Guerrero, Mexico), who is a Mexican luchador enmascarado, or masked professional wrestler currently working for the Mexican professional wrestling promotion International Wrestling Revolution Group (IWRG) as a part of the Los Oficiales Elite group alongside Oficial Factor and Oficial Rayan. Montés previously worked under a number of other ring names including Omega and Arlequín Rojo, but they are not officially acknowledged as the enmascarado character is promoted as a separate entity from Montés' previous characters as is often the case when a Mexican wrestler adopts a new masked character.
Victor Manuel Montés began his professional wrestling career in 1990 and worked under various enmascarado (masked) characters such as Halcon de Fuego ("Fire Falcon"), Guerrero Atomico ("Atomic Warrior") and Cepillito ("Brush").

Bass Armstrong (バース・アームストロング Bāsu Āmusutorongu) is a retired professional wrestler and Tina's overprotective father. He is also the widower of Alicia Armstrong, who died of a disease when Tina was only six years old. He disapproves of Tina's aspirations of wanting to be a model (DOA2), a Hollywood actress (DOA3) and a rock star (DOA4). Consequently, he enters the DOA tournaments to put an end to her fame-seeking, only to fail at each attempt. In the fourth tournament, it is revealed that he intends to win so he would have enough money to enter the "Hyper Battle Grand Prix", which he then loses after seeing Tina's picture on a billboard and crashes into it after losing control of his bike. Like Tina in the English versions of the game, he, too, speaks with a Southern accent.
Michael Pointer is a fictional character code-named Omega, a mutant in the Marvel Comics Universe. He first appeared in New Avengers #16 as the Collective before becoming a member of the Omega Flight team.
Pointer worked as a postman in North Pole, Alaska, not knowing he was a mutant with the ability to absorb the energy, abilities, and even personalities of other mutants. He inadvertently became the focal point of the mutant energy displaced after the Decimation event, which had previously hovered above Earth, maintaining the disembodied mind of the deceased mutant Xorn, amongst others. After absorbing the energy, Pointer became the being known as the Collective. With his body possessed by Xorn's consciousness, Pointer went on a rampage across North America, killing over 2,000 people. Upon entering Canada, the Collective killed most of the original members of Alpha Flight. In Cleveland, outside the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, he faced Iron Man, Ms. Marvel and the Sentry in battle. Through that encounter, Spider-Man and the Vision, with the assistance of S.H.I.E.L.D., were able to determine the nature of his powers.

Hope is a 2014 French drama film directed by Boris Lojkine. It was screened as part of the International Critics' Week section at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival where it won the SACD Award.
Cross me once, more fool me
Cross me twice and you bleed
No time for morals my reputation intact
I'm still here when you're not looking
I may lay dormant
My guard is never down
Betray everything again
I have to pick up the pieces of everything you've lost
A shadow casts across my face
I'm already forgotten
The limelight shifts and no one hears my voice
I've gone and lost my way, searching for some guidance
The shadow moves
The light burns my eyes
So fickle I can't please everyone
I'll do what I want
Right now my enemies kept close to the edge of a knife
Betray everything again
I have to pick up the pieces of everything you've lost
Again I'm cast, I'm cast so far away
Reaching for answers I'm blind to
Abandon hope
Now all hope is lost, I've failed you
Again I'm cast, I'm cast so far away
Reaching for answers I'm blind to
