After that, the scene shifts to Aadhi (Vijay) who lives with his foster parents (Manivannan) & (Seetha) in New Delhi. He takes up a course in a Chennai college against his parents' wishes, while he is actually on mission to eliminate the people behind the murder of his blood family. Unable to be separated from Aadhi, his foster parents and their daughter cone to Chennai along with him.

"When we were shooting for Mirugam in Madurai, we saw the rushes of the film at a local theatre. That was the first time I saw myself on the big screen. I liked my portrayal. I saw the full film at Udayam theatre in Chennai along with the audience on the first day of its release. The response was good."
After completing BE in Computer Science, Aadi had applied for pilot training as he was interested in touring the world. While he was waiting to hear from them, he enrolled for Silambam classes under Pandian master where stars such as Suriya and Karthi used to come.
One day, director Samy who came to see Suriya, spotted him. The director was planning his next project post-Uyir. He came to Aadhi's home to give the script of Mirugam. Aadhi instantly accepted the offer as he was desperate for a film offer.

For a long time he's been lucky man
No difference if it's good or bad
The trigger's his - the orders others
No way to stop the final blow
The message: here ya go
The countdown's on a roll
War against the world
All systems deadly armed
Machine, man, all in one
They're all oblivious to the crime
Braindead hero
Braindead hero - out of the sun he comes
Braindead hero
Braindead hero - feel the blazing guns
Now we got to blow his circuitry
Drain the poison from his veins
Degenerate - corrupt his memories
Fire at will - just do or die
The message: here ya go
The countdown's on a roll
War against the world
All systems deadly armed
Machine, man, all in one
They're all oblivious to the crime
Braindead hero
Braindead hero -like a hammer from the sky
Braindead hero
Braindead hero - supersonic cry
You better stay just where you are
Consequences in the fire
Braindead hero
Braindead hero - out of the sun he comes
Braindead hero
