A Woman Is a Woman (French: Une femme est une femme) is a 1961 French film directed by Jean-Luc Godard, featuring Anna Karina, Jean-Paul Belmondo and Jean-Claude Brialy. It is a tribute to American musical comedy and associated with the French New Wave. It is notable for being the first film Jean-Luc Godard shot in color and Cinemascope.
The film centers on the relationship of exotic dancer Angéla (Karina) and her lover Émile (Brialy). Angéla wants to have a child, but Émile isn't ready. Émile's best friend Alfred (Belmondo) also says he loves Angéla, and keeps up a gentle pursuit. Angéla and Émile have their arguments about the matter; at one point, as they have decided not to speak with each other, they pull books from the shelf and, pointing to the titles, continue their argument. Since Émile stubbornly refuses her request for a child, Angéla finally decides to accept Alfred's plea and sleeps with him. Since she shows she will do what she needs to have a child, she and Émile finally make up so that he might have a chance to become the father.
Is a Woman is the sixth studio album by American rock band Lambchop. Its combination of austere arrangements and minimalist instrumentation marks a change from former albums' elaborate and lavish sound.
In late 2010 Lambchop performed this album in its entirety, live on stage at a number of venues throughout Europe.
All songs written by Kurt Wagner, except "Caterpillar" written by D.C. Book and Kurt Wagner.
A Woman was Charlie Chaplin's ninth film for Essanay Films. It was made in Los Angeles at the Majestic Studio and released in 1915. The film starts with Chaplin meeting Edna (Edna Purviance) and her parents in a park; the mother is played by Marta Golden and the father by Charles Insley. In this film, Chaplin dresses as a woman to fool Edna's father. It was the third and last time Chaplin played the role of a woman on film. He played a woman in two Keystone films: The Masquerader and A Busy Day.

Woman oh woman have you got cheating on your mind on your mind
There's something wrong between us that your laughter cannot hide
And you're afraid to let your eyes meet mine
And lately when I love you I know you're not satisfied
Woman oh tell me woman have you got cheating on your mind on your mind
I've seen the way men look at you when they think I don't see
And it hurts to have them think that you're that kind
But it's knowing that you're looking back that's really killing me
Oh woman oh tell me woman have you got cheating on your mind on your mind
A woman wears a certain look when she is on the move
And a man can always tell what's on her mind
I hate to have to say it but that look's all over you
Oh woman oh tell me woman have you got cheating on your mind
