AT&T Building (Kingman, Arizona)

The AT&T Building is a historic building located at the corner of Pine and Third Streets in Kingman, Arizona. The building was built in 1930 by contractors Mead & Mount. Architects Fisher & Fisher designed the building in the Spanish Colonial Revival style. Built in a residential area, the building is still used by AT&T. The building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

AT&T Building (Indianapolis)

AT&T Building is a high rise in Indianapolis, Indiana. It was opened in 1932 and is 22 stories tall. It is primarily used for office space and is the headquarters for AT&T in Indiana. The AT&T Building is connected with the AT&T 220 Building, which is located just to the south. The building has been expanded and has achieved its present form only after a few iterations.

The headquarters building previously at this site, completed in 1907, was moved in 1930 to make way for the new construction. Over a 34-day period, the 11,000-ton building was shifted 52 feet south, rotated 90 degrees, and then shifted again 100 feet west. Amazingly, this was done without interrupting customer's telephone service or telephone business operations. The new headquarters was completed in 1932, and was 7 stories tall. It was later expanded in the 1940s and 1960s to bring it to its current size and height. (The original building was demolished in 1963.)

The AT&T Building (formerly the South Central Bell Building and BellSouth Building, colloquially known as the Batman Building) is a 617 ft (188 m), 33-story skyscraper completed in August 1994 and located in Nashville, Tennessee. The structure is designed as an office tower capable of housing 2,000 workers. It is currently the tallest building in the state of Tennessee.

Architecture and design

The building sits on 2.7 acres (11,000 m²) of property on Commerce St between 3rd and 4th Avenues North, and has a footprint of 1⅔ city blocks. It features a three-story winter garden atrium as its foyer and has a nine-story underground parking garage with 1,300 vehicle capacity. Its distinctive design and dark coloration have earned it the nickname "Batman Building", due to its resemblance to the mask of superhero character Batman.

Richard Miller, the president of architectural firm Earl Swensson Associates, said of the design process: "...at the time we did that they [South Central Bell] wanted a signature piece of architecture. What happens inside the building drives the way the outside looks."

AT&T (SEPTA station)

AT&T (formerly known as, and still commonly referred to as, Pattison) is the southern terminus of SEPTA's Broad Street Line, located at 3600 South Broad Street, at the intersection of Broad Street and Pattison Avenue in the South Philadelphia area of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.Naming rights for the station were sold in 2010 to AT&T for five years.

Station layout

The station is located within short walking distance of the Sports Complex. One block east of the station is Citizens Bank Park, the home of the Philadelphia Phillies, and Lincoln Financial Field, the home of the Philadelphia Eagles. AT&T Station is also next to the Wells Fargo Center, the home of the Philadelphia Flyers and Philadelphia 76ers.

The station has an unusually wide and long platform to accommodate crush capacity crowds that occur regularly after events at the Sports Complex. There is an additional, infrequently-used platform on a level immediately beneath the regular service platform which is visible from the gated stairways along the length of the platform.

The AT-T is based on the Chassis and drive system from the T-54 Tank.However, the tub has been rotated through 180 °.
