ABCD 2

ABCD 2 (also known as Any Body Can Dance 2) is a 2015 Indian 3D dance film directed by Remo D'Souza and produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur under Walt Disney Pictures. The film stars Prabhu Deva, Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles with Lauren Gottlieb, Raghav Juyal and Dharmesh Yelande in supporting roles. It is the sequel to the 2013 film ABCD: Any Body Can Dance.ABCD 2 released on 19 June 2015. The decommissioned warship INS Vikrant was featured as a backdrop behind the dance group's practice area during the first half of the film.

After time, Walt Disney Pictures sold the film's satellite rights to Sony Entertainment Television (India), thereby breaking its chain trend of selling the rights to Zee Entertainment Enterprises. The film first entered a World Television Premiere on 10 October 2015, Saturday. On 29 November 2015, Sunday, the film had an exclusive channel premiere on Sony Max.

The film explores the career journey of Suresh and Vernon of the "fictitious dance crew", who went on to win the World Dance Championship in Las Vegas.

ABCD² score

The ABCD² score is a clinical prediction rule used to determine the risk for stroke in the days following a transient ischemic attack (TIA, a condition in which temporary brain dysfunction results from oxygen shortage in the brain). It usefulness was questioned in a 2015 review as it was not found to separate those who are low from those who are at high risk of future problems. The high score pick up 87% of people that will have a stroke in the next 7 days but many people in whom it is positive do not have problems.

The ABCD² score is based on five parameters (age, blood pressure, clinical features, duration of TIA, and presence of diabetes) scores for each item are added together to produce an overall result ranging between zero and seven. People found to have a high score are often sent to a specialist sooner. Other clinical risk factors, such as atrial fibrillation and anticoagulation treatment, as well as ongoing or recurrent TIA, are also relevant.

The ABCD² score was proposed in 2007 as a modified version of the ABCD score of 2005 (the ABCD score did not consider the presence of diabetes).In the largest study based in the emergency department testing the ABCD² score in an acute setting, the score performed poorly in both high risk and low risk patients. The study found the score to be 31.6% sensitive in high risk patients (score >5) and only 12.5% specific in low risk patients (score ≤2).

ABC (medicine)

ABC and its variations are initialism mnemonics for essential steps used by both medical professionals and lay persons (such as first aiders) when dealing with a patient. In its original form it stands for Airway, Breathing and Circulation. The protocol was originally developed as a memory aid for rescuers performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and the most widely known use of the initialism is in the care of the unconscious or unresponsive patient, although it is also used as a reminder of the priorities for assessment and treatment of patients in many acute medical and trauma situations, from first-aid to hospital medical treatment. Airway, breathing, and circulation are vital for life, and each is required, in that order, for the next to be effective. Since its development, the mnemonic has been extended and modified to fit the different areas in which it is used, with different versions changing the meaning of letters (such as from the original 'Circulation' to 'Compressions') or adding other letters (such as an optional "D" step for Disability or Defibrillation).
