O&G may refer to:

Oeyo

Oeyo (於江与), Gō (江), Ogō (小督) or Satoko (達子) : 1573 – September 15, 1626) was a prominently-placed female figure in late-Sengoku period. She married three times, first to Saji Kazunari, her cousin, then to Toyotomi Hideyoshi's nephew Toyotomi Hidekatsu. She had a daughter named Sada with Hidekatsu, but she died due to an illness. Her third and last husband Tokugawa Hidetada became the second Tokugawa shogun. She was also the mother of his successor Iemitsu, the third shogun. She had Senhime, Tamahime, Katsuhime, Hatsuhime, Takechiyo (Iemitsu), and Tadanaga. Hatsuhime was adopted by Oeyo's sister Ohatsu, who is the wife of Kyogoku Takatsugu.

Hidetada's changing fortunes affected Oeyo's life as well. Surviving record books from merchants of luxury goods provide insight into patterns of patronage and taste amongst the privileged class of women like Oeyo and her sisters.

Genealogy

Oeyo, also known as Ogō, was the third and youngest daughter of the Sengoku period daimyo Azai Nagamasa. Her mother, Oichi was the younger sister of Oda Nobunaga.Toyotomi Hideyoshi became the adoptive father and protector of Oeyo in the period before her marriage.

The Gates Mixed Plate

The Gates Mixed Plate is the tenth studio album by rapper Tech N9ne, which was released on July 27, 2010. It is the third album in the rapper's "Collabos" series, following the 2009 album Sickology 101. The album's name is in reference to the Kansas City Bar-B-Q restaurant Gates Bar-B-Q. The album's first single, "O.G." further references the restaurant.

The album has what the artists describes as "lighter music" after the 2009 album, K.O.D., took a "darker" approach. When speaking on the content of the album, the artist said the album "is full of party tracks because I'm trying to rejoice." The album also features guest appearances by Kutt Calhoun, Krizz Kaliko, Big Scoob, Brotha Lynch Hung, Stevie Stone, Jay Rock, Glasses Malone, Yukmouth, Devin the Dude, Irv Da Phenom, and many more.

Singles and videos

On June 11, MTVU.com premiered the music video for the first single, "O.G." The video was directed by Dan Gedman. The single was featured in a list of the "Top 10 Party Anthems for Summer 2010" on ARTISTdirect.com along with the likes of "Can't Be Tamed" (Miley Cyrus), "Ms. Chocolate" (Lil' Jon) and "Alejandro" (Lady Gaga).

Ağrı

Ağrı, formerly known as Karaköse (Kurdish: Qerekose‎) from the early Turkish republican period until 1946, and before that as Karakilisa (also rendered as Karakilise) (Ottoman: قره‌کلیسا), is the capital of Ağrı Province at the eastern end of Turkey, near the border with Iran.

History

In the Ottoman Empire era the area was called Şorbulak. The current town centre was founded around 1860 by a group of Armenian merchants from Bitlis with the name Karakilise ("the black church") that became known to the local population as Karakise and this version was turned officially to Karaköse at the beginning of the Republican era. This name was changed to Ağrı by 1946.

In the medieval period, the district's administrative centre was located at Alashkert, once an important town. The "kara kilise" that gave the town its name was a medieval Armenian church. In 1895 Lynch stayed in Karakilise and wrote that it had between 1500-2000 inhabitants, was nearly two-thirds Armenian, and that a barracks for a locally-recruited Kurdish Hamidiyeh regiment had been recently located in the town.

Artists and repertoire (A&R) is the division of a record label or music publishing company that is responsible for talent scouting and overseeing the artistic development of recording artists and songwriters. It also acts as a liaison between artists and the record label or publishing company; every activity involving artists to the point of album release is generally considered under the purview, and responsibility, of A&R.

Responsibilities

Finding talent

The A&R division of a record label is responsible for finding new recording artists and bringing those artists to the record company. Personnel in the A&R division are expected to understand the current tastes of the market and to be able to find artists that will be commercially successful. For this reason, A&R people are often young and many are musicians, music journalists or record producers.

An A&R executive is authorized to offer a record contract, often in the form of a "deal memo": a short informal document that establishes a business relationship between the recording artist and the record company. The actual contract negotiations will typically be carried out by rival entertainment lawyers hired by the musician's manager and the record company.
