2010–11 DFB-Pokal

The 2010–11 DFB-Pokal was the sixty-eighth season of the annual German football cup competition. It commenced on the weekend around 14 August 2010 with the matches of Round 1 and concluded on 21 May 2011 with the final at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin. The competition was won by FC Schalke 04, who thus qualified for the play-off round of the 2011–12 UEFA Europa League.

The following 64 teams competed in Round 1: (Champion listed in bold)

¹ Finalists from the three regions with the most participating teams in their league competitions (Bavaria, Lower Saxony, Westphalia) are also allowed to compete.
² Sandhausen and Babelsberg take part on behalf of their cup-winning reserve teams as these are not permitted to enter the competition.
³ Since Osnabrück entered the competition via their league placement, Eintracht Braunschweig and Heeslingen as losing semi-finalists played a single match to determine the second Lower Saxony participiant. Braunschweig won this match with 0–0 (aet), 4–1 on penalties. However, since Braunschweig eventually gained access to the competition via their league placement as well, Heeslingen were awarded the spot.

2010–11 DFB-Pokal (women)

The DFB-Pokal 2010–11 was the 31st season of the cup competition, Germany's second-most important title in women's football. 1. FFC Frankfurt defeated 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam 2–1 in the final in Cologne on 26 March 2011.

The following teams were qualified for the DFB-Pokal:

1st round

The drawing for the first round was on 2 July 2010. The seven best clubs of the previous Bundesliga season, Turbine Potsdam, FCR Duisburg, FFC Frankfurt, Bayern Munich, VfL Wolfsburg, Bad Neuenahr, and Hamburger SV, were awarded byes for the first round.

2nd round

The draw for the second round was held on 16 August 2010. The matches were played on 1 September 2010.

Round of 16

The draw for the round of 16 was held on 11 September 2010. The matches were played on 23 and 24 October 2010.

Quarter-finals

The draw was held on 28 October 2010. The matches were planned to be played on 12 December 2010, but have been postponed several times due to bad weather.

1954–55 DFB-Pokal

The DFB-Pokal 1954–55 was the 12th season of the competition. It began on 15 August 1954 and ended on 21 May 1955. 32 teams competed in the tournament of five rounds. In the final Karlsruher SC defeated Schalke 04 3–2.

2000–01 DFB-Pokal

The DFB-Pokal is the second-most important national title in German football. The DFB-Pokal 2000–01 was the 58th season of the competition. 64 teams competed in the tournament of six rounds which began on 25 August 2000 and ended on 26 May 2001. In the final Schalke 04 defeated third tier Union Berlin 2–0 thereby claiming their third title.

The DFB-Pokal is the second-most important national title in German football. The DFB-Pokal 1997–98 was the 55th season of the competition. 64 teams competed in the tournament of six rounds which began on 14 August 1997 and ended on 16 May 1998. In the final Bayern Munich defeated MSV Duisburg 2–1 thereby claiming their ninth title.
