1982–83 Yugoslav Second League

The 1982–83 Yugoslav Second League season was the 37th season of the Second Federal League (Serbo-Croatian: 'Druga savezna liga'), the second level association football competition of SFR Yugoslavia, since its establishment in 1946. The league was contested in two regional groups (West Division and East Division), with 18 clubs each, two more than in the previous season.

West Division

Teams

A total of eighteen teams contested the league, including thirteen sides from the 1981–82 season, one club relegated from the 1981–82 Yugoslav First League and four sides promoted from the Inter-Republic Leagues played in the 1981–82 season. The league was contested in a double round robin format, with each club playing every other club twice, for a total of 34 rounds. Two points were awarded for wins and one point for draws.

NK Zagreb were relegated from the 1981–82 Yugoslav First League after finishing in the 18th place of the league table. The four clubs promoted to the second level were Maribor, Novi Sad, Radnik Bijeljina and Varteks.

1952 Yugoslav Second League

The 1952 Yugoslav Second League season would be the 6th season of the Second Federal League (Serbo-Croatian: 'Druga savezna liga'), the second level association football competition of SFR Yugoslavia, since its establishment in 1946. It was cancelled before the start of the competition and the clubs were relocated to third level.

Teams

A total of twelve teams were supposed to contest the league, including nine sides from the 1951 season, two clubs relegated from the 1951 Yugoslav First League and one side promoted from the third tier leagues played in the 1951 season.

Spartak Subotica and Napredak Kruševac were relegated from the 1951 Yugoslav First League after finishing in the 11th and 12th place of the league table. Rudar Trbovlje and Sloga Rankovićevo secured their status after additional play-off.

1978–79 Yugoslav Second League

The 1978–79 Yugoslav Second League season was the 33rd season of the Second Federal League (Serbo-Croatian: 'Druga savezna liga'), the second level association football competition of SFR Yugoslavia, since its establishment in 1946. The league was contested in two regional groups (West Division and East Division), with 16 clubs each.

West Division

Teams

A total of sixteen teams contested the league, including eleven sides from the 1977–78 season, one club relegated from the 1977–78 Yugoslav First League and four sides promoted from the 1977–78 Yugoslav Third League. The league was contested in a double round robin format, with each club playing every other club twice, for a total of 30 rounds. Two points were awarded for wins and one point for draws.

Čelik Zenica were relegated from the 1977–78 Yugoslav First League after finishing the season in 17th place of the league table. The four clubs promoted to the second level were Bosna, Mercator, Segesta and Spartak Subotica.

1948–49 Yugoslav Second League

The 1948–49 Yugoslav Second League season was the 3rd season of the Second Federal League (Serbo-Croatian: 'Druga savezna liga'), the second level association football competition of SFR Yugoslavia, since its establishment in 1946.

Teams

A total of ten teams contested the league, including four sides from the 1947–48 season, three clubs relegated from the 1947–48 Yugoslav First League and three sides promoted from the third tier leagues played in the 1947–48 season. The league was contested in a double round robin format, with each club playing every other club twice, for a total of 18 rounds. Two points were awarded for a win and one point for draws.

Sarajevo and Spartak Subotica were relegated from the 1947–48 Yugoslav First League after finishing in the bottom two places of the league table, while Vardar lost to Naša Krila Zemun in the relegation play-offs. The three clubs promoted to the second level were Dinamo Skopje, Podrinje Šabac and Proleter Osijek.
