.ki is the Internet country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Kiribati.

From the early 1990s to the early 2000s the domain was managed on behalf of the Republic of Kiribati by an Australian ISP, Connect.com.au with the Pacific Islands Forum Fisheries Agency, based in Honiara, Solomon Islands as original sponsor, then transferred to the Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources Development of Kiribati and finally to the Ministry of Communications, Transport, and Tourism Development. In 2002 direct management of the ccTLD was transferred to Telecom Services Kiribati Limited. This initial set up was done by Franck Martin. As of 2007, the registry is being handled by the Telecommunications Authority of Kiribati using a system of multiple registrars similar to that used by gTLDs; however, few sites are actively using .ki domains. Because of the location of Kiribati and limited Internet connection, it is not uncommon for a website in Kiribati, such as a government website, to be very slow or inaccessible, however a lot of .ki sites are hosted outside Kiribati.

Kiğı

Kiğı (Kurdish: Gêxî‎, Armenian: Քղի Kʿġi) is a town and district of Bingöl Province in the Eastern Anatolia region of Turkey. The mayor is Yılmaz Gündüz (CHP). The district has a population of 3.188 out of which 1.604 live in the town of Kiğı.

Historically this area was ruled by different Armenian, Byzantine, Kurdish and Turkic dynasties. The town became part of the Ottoman Empire in the early 16th century. There were battles in this area between the Russians and Ottomans during World War I. During the Middle Ages, Kiğı had been a mint town of the Ilkhanids. Historically a nearby iron mine was used but mining stopped in 1820. The main sights in the town are the citadel, the mosque built in 1401/02 and commissioned by Pir Ali son of the Aq Qoyunlu Kutlu. But the present structure is largely a restoration from later times. The medieval Muslim tomb and bathhouse of Yazıcızadeler and the ruins of a church. The current location of the town was moved here after a Safavid raid in the 16th century, the old site was near the citadel.

Kitaro's discography consists of 24 studio albums, 8 live albums, 14 soundtrack albums, and 42 compilation albums. Kitaro's latest project, Symphony Live In Istanbul was nominated for the 57th Annual Grammy Awards, and is Kitaro's 16th Grammy nomination to date.

He also appears in five full-length concert videos and has composed scores for numerous films including Oliver Stone's Heaven & Earth, Impressions of the West Lake, and The Soong Sisters. He won Golden Globe Award Best Original Score for Heaven & Earth and won Golden Horse Award and Hong Kong Film Award for The Soong Sisters (1997).

He has collaborated with various artists including Megadeth's Marty Friedman, Mickey Hart, Philip Glass, Dennis Banks, and Jane Zhang, as well as appearing on four Far East Family Band albums.
