Slipknot is the self titled debut studio album by American heavy metal band Slipknot. It was released on 29 June 1999 through Roadrunner Records, following a demo containing a few of the songs which had been released in 1998, and was reissued in December 1999 with a slightly altered track listing and mastering as the result of a lawsuit. It was the first release by the band to be produced by Ross Robinson, who sought to refine Slipknot's sound rather than alter the group's musical direction.
The album spans several genres, but is generally noted for its extensive percussion and overall heavy sound. It was well received by fans and critics alike and was responsible for bringing Slipknot a large increase in popularity. The album peaked at number 51 on the Billboard 200, and has gone on to become certified double platinum in the United States, making it the band's best selling album. It was voted the best debut album of the last 25 years by readers of Metal Hammer magazine.

However, their efforts are hindered as the repercussions of the heist start to pursue them, which brings some tension between Shane, Lem, and Tavon. Also, Aceveda looks for his replacement as he prepares to take the seat of councilman.
Season 4 features the new captain of The Barn, Monica Rawling who implements controversial federal asset forfeiture laws to control drug dealing in Farmington, which is controlled by the leader of the One-Niners gang, Antwon Mitchell, who has just been released from prison. To stop this, Rawling empowers Vic, whose Strike Team has disbanded since the last season forcing them to reunite.
A slip knot (or running knot) is one of two different classes of knot. The most common are knots which attach a line to an object and tighten when tension is applied to the free end of the line. The other is a type of knot designed to bind one end of a rope to the middle of another, while allowing the knot to slide along the rope.
The former kind is generally created by attaching a rope to itself, creating a loop which can be tightened later. Any knot which is used to secure a line to either a post or ring (starting with the simple half hitch, and including such knots as the bowline and clove hitch) can be turned into this sort of slip knot by tying it around the standing part of the line.
The most common example of the second kind of slip knot is the rolling hitch.
This is a starting point used for crochet and knitting. Take a length of yarn and create a loop in the shape of a "p". Place hand or hook through a hole and grab thread on top and draw through bottom of loop. Draw until a small loop is created.
The discography of Slipknot, an American heavy metal band, consists of five studio albums, one live album, four video albums, one demo album, fifteen singles, four promotional singles and thirteen music videos.
Slipknot was formed in Iowa in September 1995 by vocalist Anders Colsefni, guitarist Donnie Steele, bassist Paul Gray and drummer Shawn Crahan under the name of The Pale Ones. Crahan moved to become a percussionist upon drummer Joey Jordison's arrival, and Josh Brainard was added as a second guitarist around the same time. The band played their first live performance on December 4, 1995 under the name of Meld, before Jordison suggested "Slipknot", the title of a song they were working on at the time. The band began recording songs in early 1996, during which time guitarist, Donnie Steele, allegedly left the band due to his Christian beliefs. He was replaced by Craig Jones, who moved to samples after current guitarist Mick Thomson joined. Slipknot's debut album, Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat, was released on October 31, 1996 without contributions from Jones or Thomson.
