.id is the Internet country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Indonesia.

Domain names

On 11 March 2013 the Indonesian Domain Name Forum approved the adoption of a new desa second level domain for Indonesia's 72,944 villages with autonomy for local affairs.

As of 17 August 2014, second-level domain registrations have entered general availability, allowing registrations to be made directly under .id, without a prefix. This brings the total of available extensions to 12:

Id (cuneiform)

The cuneiform sign id, also it, and with other sub-uses, including a sumerogram, Á, for Akkadian language idu, is a common-use sign in the Epic of Gilgamesh, the Amarna letters, and other cuneiform texts. Letters ("d/t") are paired consonants in the Akkadian language ('voiced'/'unvoiced'), thus the other sub-uses of the sign are for ed, et, eṭ, and iṭ. Cuneiform id/it can be a syllabic for ed, et, eṭ, id, it, and iṭ, or an alphabetic for any of the constructs thereof. It is also has a sub-use for á, as well as the sumerogram for Á.

Epic of Gilgamesh usage

Cuneiform id/it has other sub-uses in the Epic of Gilgamesh. The following can be found: á--(5) times, ed--(4), et--(11), eṭ--(13), id--(27), it--(121), iṭ--(21), and Á--(3) times.

(or ip) is a common-use sign in the Epic of Gilgamesh, the Amarna letters, and other cuneiform texts. Its common usage is syllabic for ib (or ip), or alphabetic for i or b/p; the "i" is also exchanged for "e" when spelling specific words in the Akkadian language. Cuneiform ib also can be found as sumerogram URTA, (a capital letter (majuscule)), and for example it is used in the Epic of Gilgamesh for the god's name: Ninurta, spelled ^DNIN.URTA.

Characters of Xenogears

This is a comprehensive listing of notable characters from the video game Xenogears, a role-playing video game originally released in 1998 by Square Enix for the PlayStation video game console. Kunihiko Tanaka was the lead character designer, while Tetsuya Takahashi and Masato Kato were the lead writers for the game. Xenogears was a commercial and critical success. In Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu, Xenogears was voted the 16th best video game of all time by its readers in a poll held in 2006.

Xenogears follows the character Fei and his friends as they learn about Deus, a powerful, self-aware interplanetary invasion system that crashed onto the planet ten thousand years before the game's story begins. Deus has been secretly controlling the gradually increasing population of the planet to one day bring about its own resurrection. Fei and Elly are personalities which have been reincarnated throughout history in order to ensure that Deus never achieves its goal. They serve as the main protagonists. Opposed to Fei and Elly, Miang has reincarnated several times with the task of manipulating the progress of mankind and, in fact, is the embodiment of Deus on the Earth. She serves as the main antagonist.
