Google Nexus Prime rumored to release in October

I think by now we're all aware of the fact that Google will unveil a new Nexus phone some time later this year running Android 4.0. Unfortunately that's pretty much all we know for now. Whoever's doing the job of keeping this phone a secret ought to be rewarded. That however wont stop the rumor mill from churning out saucy news every now and then and if this latest one is to be believed, we might see the new Nexus phone this October with some pretty hefty specs.

The phone in question is rumored to be manufactured by Samsung. It will have a Super AMOLED HD screen, which means an unheard of resolution of 1280x720 in this form factor. And pixel freaks would be happy to know it carries a conventional RGB matrix and not the controversial pentile pattern. It will be powered by a 1.5Ghz dual core CPU.
