Reality Code Jumper is a Quantum Leap-inspired, barcode-powered, reality-jumping RPG for one player and one GM.
THE PREMISE
Experimental physicists at an extra-governmental agency discover that everyday objects contain ‘codes’ that lead to new realities.
Using experimental tech, a Jumper ‘jumps’ into one of these realities, but something goes wrong. They’re trapped in a stranger’s body in a strange world.
The agency contacts the Jumper and tells them their only hope of ever returning home is to right a wrong in this reality. And if they can’t, they’ll be lost forever…

● Two players (a Jumper and a GM)
● Two six-sided dice (2D6)
● A handful of tokens
● A UPC barcode

This is a fun, charming, and quick game. I've experienced it as both a player and a GM. As a GM, the barcode generation system immediately gives you the bones of a fun and quirky one-shot, but can also spin up ideas you could adapt to a larger campaign.
As a player, it's a curious (and hilarious) sensation to be dropped into the body of a character and to try to figure out who you are (without revealing that you don't know who you are). This creates a story with high stakes but low pressure on the player to know the rules or lore.
