VIDYA South Zone

For over 13 years, VIDYA Bangalore in South Zone has been dedicated to the education, empowerment, and transformation of lives. Since its establishment in 2010, VIDYA Bangalore has experienced remarkable growth, positively impacting thousands of individuals in Bangalore and beyond. VIDYA Bangalore’s journey commenced in 2010 with the introduction of the Bhavishya Yaan program at a Government High School, benefiting 150 beneficiaries. Since then, VIDYA Bangalore has achieved significant milestones, reaching over 80,000 beneficiaries in 13 years through various initiatives for children, youth, and women. The establishment of the VIDYA Centre of Excellence in South and East Bangalore, along with the expansion of programs in communities and government schools, has provided enhanced education opportunities. From its modest beginnings to impacting the lives of 80,000 beneficiaries, VIDYA Bangalore’s journey underscores the transformative potential of education and community involvement.

We extend heartfelt gratitude to all who have contributed to this journey – from our visionary Founder President Rashmi Misra and dedicated Founder Members to our esteemed Donor Partners, Individual Donors, Friends of VIDYA, passionate Staff, and resilient VIDYA Beneficiaries. As we commemorate our 13-year legacy, we eagerly anticipate many more years of fostering empowerment, instigating transformation, and achieving collective impact.
