Tabbouleh (arabcha: تبولة), shuningdek, transkripsiya qilingan tabule, tabuli, tabuli yoki tabula, asosan mayda to'g'ralgan maydanozdan tayyorlangan, pomidor, yalpiz, piyoz, namlangan pishmagan bulg'or va zaytun moyi, limon sharbati, tuz va shirin qalampir qo'shilgan Levant salatidir . Ba'zi o'zgarishlar salat qo'shadi yoki bulg'or o'rniga irmik ishlatiladi. [1]

Tabbouleh an'anaviy ravishda Sharqiy O'rta yer dengizi va arab dunyosida mezzaning bir qismi sifatida dasturxonga tortiladi[2][3][4][5][6]. Humus, baba g'anush, pita noni va arab oshxonasining boshqa taomlari kabi tabbouleh ham Amerika Qo'shma Shtatlarida mashhur taomga aylangan[7][8].

Etimologiyasi

Levant arabchasidagi tabbūle arabcha tābil so'zidan olingan bo'lib, oromiycha tbl so'zidan kelib chiqqan, "ziravorlar"[9][10] yoki so'zma-so'z "cho'milish" degan ma'noni anglatadi. Bu so'zning ingliz tilida qo'llanilishi birinchi marta 1950-yillarda paydo bo'lgan[9].
