Compared to similar platforms, i find that needhelp is a lot more responsive. Within an hour of submitting a request, am already receiving responses. With that and the reviews, titles, certifications, am more than happy with the selection.

I was moving from one flat to another in Toulouse, France and had two quotes. I took the second one. And was very satisfied with the service. The person arrived early, came with an assistance and the move was done seamlessly. I would highly recommend for the Toulouse area and certainly it depends on the individual contractor.

Contacted Need Help when B&Q recommended them after I had been let down at the last minute by tradesmen. Three responses right away and I gave the job to the first contractors who managed to help me out the next day and did a good job in time for my furniture and carpets arriving. The only downside is that NH ask for a budget which, for a layperson, is not ideal. If you underprice, you might not get a response and if you give very high budget, you are effectively ripping yourself off.

Sometimes difficult to get tradespeople for niggling little jobs like this (repair of a tile and refix of bath panel). I was grateful that Bernard was prepared to travel and be flexible, fitting me into his busy Christmas schedule. He asked appropriate questions before accepting the job, which reassured me that the work wouyld be done well. Thank you.

I like the idea of Need Help and it was useful to find an expert near me. However, the platform can be difficult to navigate. It is not easy to get an overview of all messages/offers at the same time. You have to click through quite a few pages before finally finding the info you're looking for.

Steve L at SL & CONSTRUCTION, part of your need help contractors group, came as arranged to repair our toilet cistern today and was completely what you hope every contractor would be.
He was on time, polite, explained fully what needed doing and then carried out the job efficiently so we now have a working toilet in the bathroom! I fully intend to recommend both SL CONSTRUCTION and also the Need help organisation. Thank you for your help and direction in our hour of need!

I found using the Need Help site to find a tradesman to do our bathroom refurbishment relatively straightforward. Within a short time a local tradesman responded, able to do the job within our budget and tight time frame. ABC Building Services in Cornwall did a great job. They went the extra mile for us when we were supplied with faulty materials, and came back in the evenings, after a days work, to get the job completed.
A good, quick, tidy job carried out and I have no hesitance in recommending them.

Even if I pay the cost and I decide the date and time already, the assemble does not decide do at all.
This system is uncomfortable for me, because I don’t decide the schedule.
Don’t you think someone would come on that date and time after paying the cost and contacting the company.
I think it's rude to customers to suddenly cancel or say that it hasn't been decided yet in your system.

Mira Showers put me on to NeedHelp.com who in turn put me on to a contractor Flow-N-Return and I dealt with Dil Paracha. He visited and replaced my old Mira shower with a new one. He did the job in 3hours. He overcame a difficulty with our seized stopcock and completed a very professional job for us.
Prior to and after the job he kept me well informed which I was impressed with, not many companies do nowadays.
Fully recommended.
