𝗜𝗳 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝘆 𝗢𝗳 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂'𝗿𝗲 𝗙𝗮𝗿 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗔𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲....👇👇👇 There's always common threads and themes between the clients I work with Last week, I was reflecting on the threads of the last 6 months And in the interests of assuring, you you're not alone, here they are; ⚖️ A lack of boundaries and an inattention to their own personal needs 🤷‍♀️ Doubt over the value they bring and their impact as a leader on others 🤬 Communication issues with their leaders and / or their peers and team members The interesting thing is that over 60% of these clients come to me considering a career move when we first speak They feel like they need a change as they've 'lost the love' for it But it's rarely the case, there's typically always something else at play So, if you fall into this camp, I encourage you to dig a little deeper to discover what may be really going on for you so you can fix the right problem. Is this why you aren't getting booked to speak? I often get onto consultation calls with speakers having looked at their website and LinkedIn with very low expectations of their Bookability for speaking. And then we speak and they capture me with their knowledge, their topic, their depth of expertise. So I ask them, "Why isn't this on your website or your LinkedIn? It would make you so bookable." And the penny drops... They realise they've been underselling themselves. Their online presence doesn't reflect their true value or current relevance. It's like having a Ferrari and advertising it as a car. Your website and LinkedIn profile are your shop window. If they don't showcase your expertise, your unique perspective, and how you're addressing today's pressing issues, you're losing gigs to your competition. When was the last time you critically reviewed your online presence? Does it truly reflect the relevant, valuable speaker you are today?

What do you do with all the knowledge you've gained? Does it make you an expert in your field? Do you use it to support your clients? Does it help them in ways they aren't able to help themselves? I hope so, otherwise there's not much use in all the learning you've undertaken, is there? But what makes the difference between Expertise and Wisdom? And which one will make the biggest difference to us, and to our clients? You see I believe that anyone can be an Expert, but Wisdom goes far deeper than that; and more than that, Wisdom will open doors for you that Expertise cannot. Why? It's like this; whilst an expert will give you facts and figures, information that can be used in many different ways and with many different people, Wisdom. will tell you who to give that information to. Wisdom will help you say 'No' to those who should never be your clients. Wisdom will guide you into making the right choices as you grow your business, it will keep you safe, both from yourself and from others. So, remember this; whilst there's nothing wrong in giving away the information you've gathered, and sharing your expertise with others, (and your head will often lead you into doing this); take time to listen to the Wisdom that is stored in your heart. For Wisdom will guide you into sharing your expertise with the right people; with those who will truly value and appreciate it. Wisdom will keep you safe, protecting you from making the wrong decisions or taking on the wrong clienrs. In other words, Wisdom will make you stand out as the Expert in your field, whilst ensuring that you have the energy to enjoy not just your work, but your life, and your learning too! #Expert #wisdom #succeedfromthestart #learning #personalgroeth
