It's been a really busy week here at ISMS.online. And sometimes, when there are lots of plates spinning, it's easy to get wrapped up in the detail. So it was great this afternoon to take a step back and read this recent review on our G2 page which reminded me exactly why we do what we do. It's definitely put a spring in my step as we head towards the end of the week 😎 Have a great weekend everyone! "ISMS.online has an excellent complement of tools, all linking together to make our ISMS cohesive and logical. Easy to update, robust audit trails, ability to assign internal owners to risks, controls, tasks etc. It provides a seamless experience. Unlike other products we initially researched, with this platform, you are given a huge chunk of content to get yourself started, and guided along the way by the Virtual Coach (best value add - has been a Godsend - must buy) to get everything up to scratch. Probably my favourite aspect is the customer service though. Regardless of timezone, they are responsive to questions and quick with answers, with a local Australian contact, as well as the folks back in the UK. Our external audits are smooth and quick, because we can so easily navigate around the system when asked to show evidence by our assessor. We have been a customer for almost 4 years and aren't interested in looking elsewhere. Further, we have heard great feedback from other companies we have recommended ISMS.online to in that time."

There are some interesting insights in the Staircase AI "state of churn" report - I've done a quick first pass and pulled out some bits that you might find interesting, have a look at the post on CS-X.io. Following on from my post yesterday about Lead Originators like ProspectBase and Lead aggregators and the issues around GDPR on the aggregator side. How can buyers in the B2B demand generation space avoid potential pitfalls? In my opinion they should conduct thorough due diligence on potential partners to ensure they have robust data protection policies in place. They should also establish clear contracts that outline data handling responsibilities, compliance with GDPR, and procedures for data breaches. They should strongly consider implementing regular audits and assessments to ensure ongoing compliance and address any emerging risks associated with data handling. Last and by no means least they should ensure internal teams are trained on GDPR requirements and the implications of outsourcing content syndication. This is a very valid educational piece that often falls by the wayside. By carefully navigating these issues, B2B companies can effectively leverage content syndication while minimizing the risks associated with GDPR compliance. Buyers should be eyes wide open to all of the above and sellers have a duty to ensure all is as they say it is. #gdpr #demandgeneration #contentsyndication #digitalmarketing
