😵 Staggering how many companies are formed annually. What is it that you do Salman, exactly❓️ Precisely❓️ Specifically❓️ I think what I do is quite obvious. But everyone probably thinks that don't they. I don't just get these questions from the lay person. In fact most of the time it's accountants and other professional advisers. ✅️ I help resolve complex HMRC issues. Tax problems. But that's quite a high level answer, what does it mean in real life. This can be in the shape of: - Enquiries, - Disclosures, - Fraud Investigations, - Cross tax investigations, - Information requests, - Visits, - Assessments, - Rejection of claims for relief or certain tax treatment (witholding tax, for example), - Due diligence to mitigate tax exposure (VAT, CCO) And the list can probably continue for a couple of posts! ❗️I represent individuals, corporates (big or small), trustees, personal representatives/Executors, accountants, etc. ❗️I also help accountants in the background if they need a little help and guidance in dealing with any of the above (usually matters that warrant my full time involvement). ❗️If you have a problem with HMRC and need expert guidance, get in touch. ---‐--- 🤙If you are an accountant or trusted adviser and consider I would be worth adding to your network, drop me a DM and let's setup a chat. #tax #disputes #hmrc #accountants

A Post Transaction Valuation Check (PTVC) can be requested from HMRC for an individual to work out a capital gains tax liability or for companies to calculate corporation tax liability on chargeable gains. The request for a PTVC should be made using the CG34 form. HMRC’s guidance says the form must be completed and sent to the address on the form at least three months before the relevant tax return filing date. #HMRCValuations #Tax
