Returned later to aid the facility to gain extra cycletime with quality. +30 seconds was achieved and more improvements were identified with mechanical and process changes.

Developed a structure to handle machine code transfer of data created via Delcam software. Assist Franck Messner to develop the software from the process tool he had developed into a sellable emitting. Explain and advise coordinating the robot , turn table, track , tool change and ancillary equipment with the Delcam offline template driven code, so bring a flatbed CNC machine into a 3d multi axis flexible platform.

Create new patterns and optimise old patterns. Resequenced equipment interaction to gain better flow and remove bottleneck to the line and better positions reduced overhangs which gained 1 extra pallet on transport every load and 1 extra layer on pallets. Overall changing interlayer, grippers increased the productivity by a considerable amount. Simplifying the code reduced confusion for maintenance and reduced downtime considerably also.

Later returned to site to develop and install other processes into the system. Linishing, spotweld, paint and early lights out production process. Kevin was always developing and pushing the system.

Install and program multiple stations for building petrol tanks injection moulds. Fanuc rj3. Material handle the product through the sequence from mould , water test, curing , inserts to final test. Interface with all machines and create control logic so the system and robot knew exactly where it was at every station so recovery was available at every stage. Never worked with Fanuc before this job. Job was successful and another system was acquired. Site support and training given.
