The latest podcast from The Coaching Catalysts is out. As an internal and external coach, I found this really interesting. My biggest takeaways were: ✔ Making sure that, if coaching is an 'add on' role, that the coach is being supported with the extra responsibility. This is really important to me, as this is me!! I absolutely love coaching but I do need to balance my work and life. ✔ Psychological safety. Whatever is discussed in the session, stays in the session. Contracting-in the exceptions of harm to self or others. ✔ I loved how Sarah Bramall ACC, described the Coaching relationship as Sacred. Not for gossip or discussion with others. ✔ Rebecca Daniel FCCT, ICF ACC Coach and Sarah like to sum up with two words. Their words were: Trust, relationships, nuance and complexity. (two words each!) My two words are: Support and Confidentiality If you haven't listened to the podcasts so far, its worth starting from the beginning, they're good! Storytelling can transform us- Whether it's for advocacy, shining a light on inequities, influencing policy or creating community ties. Stories are empathetic communication devices for the office. They can act as a prescription or transform a data presentation that will connect with clients in the boardroom.  . They can deepen the understanding of who you work with everyday. Maybe rather than team building for the day on an assault course, tell each other stories….!  WHO is the workshop for? Anyone who wants to tell a story. Whether it’s to help you pitch, lead a team, get across who you are in the professional world, set up an entrepreneurial venture, raise your profile,  or simply for successful dating, our workshop is open to everyone who is interested in being able to tell a story.
