How can you use storytelling to enhance the impact of your call-to-action in marketing emails?

How I start a CTA with emotional pulls: “If you {pain point} but want to {desired outcome}:” That way it clearly talks to emotion upfront. Not to logic. It’s obvious what pain your offer solves and what result it delivers the reader, without even reading the details. And that’s what you want. You want the reader to be emotionally invested.

A hook isn’t just for getting as many opens as possible. It’s for getting the RIGHT opens. 1. Make the hook relevant to the offer 2. Call out the ICP 3. Be clear about the who, why and what When that all aligns with what your offer is, then you can be more confident you have the right person reading that would be interested in your offer. Precision over everything.

Here's how you can prioritize boundaries and carve out creative time in content creation.

Fastest and most efficient way to write content: Set a 2/3 hour block every Monday. (That’s what I do anyway) Gives me time to: 1. Bulk write my week of social content 2. Create some simple visuals 3. Schedule it all out After that I don’t need to think about it. Not until next Monday anyway.

You're struggling to convert long-form content into social media posts. How can you make them engaging?

The best way to tease long form with short form: Write your long form intro as a short form post. 1. Start with a problem 2. Agitate that problem 3. Tease a solution (high level) That way it’s individually valuable as short form. And you can easily segue into the long form piece by saying something like: “Read the full step by step here: {link}” This is how I do it.

Here's how you can navigate tone and style decisions as a copywriter.

You want your ICP to land on: - your twitter - your LinkedIn - your website - your blogs Wherever. And see the same message everywhere. All these touchpoints add up to one harmonious position that makes it clear what you are setting out to do. Mix them up though, and you create an unclear picture in your customers head of what you can actually do for them. That ain’t good.

This is where most marketers and writers go wrong: Failing to ask their customers questions. They end up writing about what they think is interesting stuff. But it falls flat because it’s not what anyone actually cares about. It’s what they THINK people care about. Stop. Ask your ICP: - what motivations they have? - what pain points they have? Just THIS is a good start.
