About
I analyse the fashion and beauty industries from a broader socio-cultural lens, focusing on the ways that global power relations inform the industry. I lead Vogue Business's coverage of diversity and inclusion and supply chain responsibility. In my writing I aim to highlight underrepresented perspectives and unpack the strategies brands can use to support marginalised communities in a way that also benefits their overall business.
I'm also a member of PPA's Next Gen Board, which was developed in 2023 to encourage diverse young people to shape the publishing and media sectors.
My time with Vogue Business began when I won the inaugural Vogue Business Talent Competition and completed an internship with the editorial team as part of the prize.
I graduated from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, with a first class degree in English and World Philosophies, specialising in postcolonialism and cross-cultural analysis.

Vogue Business Talent Competition
Vogue Business
I was the winner of the first ever Vogue Business Talent Competition. To apply, I submitted an article and two pitches. My prize included a paid internship, my winning article was published on the site, and I was mentored for a year by the Vogue Business team. This achievement was highlighted in the press by The Herald, Glasgow Live, Daily Record, and BBC Radio Scotland.
