How many smoke alarms do I need? 💨 Concerning statistics from a Government report in 2022 revealed a smoke alarm was not present in 24% of all dwelling fires, and a further 37% of all dwelling fire-related fatalities. When your customer asks if the alarm can be really loud. Oh! Yes... 😎 Firstly half a dozen, 4 megapixel, full colour CCTV cameras (with audio) were installed and set up with line crossings around the house. Then we installed an Ajax Systems intruder alarm system with pir's and door contacts throughout the house. As a first line of defence We placed ajax external motion protects and dual curtain beams in key areas around the property. We then added a "master blaster" siren and coupled it up to an ajax relay and set up a scenario. If anyone passes any of the external beams or pir's while the system is armed, the 113dB ajax siren at the front of the property sounds followed by the master blaster at the rear. What you're left with is home that is impossible to get close to without the customer knowing, the neighbours knowing and another of my other ajax customers who lives 500mtr away across the valley, knowing. 🤣 #dontevenbother #ajaxalarminstall #securitysolutions #intruderalarmssheffield #wirefreeintruderalarm #drivewaysecurity

What can happen when you don’t use extra protection? Theft is the answer! Especially when it comes down to vehicle security on van load areas. Sadly this customer didn’t install extra security locks, or install latch shield protection to one of their vans (HalesLocks Ltd had already protected several other vans they own but they hadn’t had time to do this one yet, a mistake!) and once left unattended for a short period of time the door got drilled. This destroyed the OEM lock inside the door and the thieves were able to gain access to steal tools. To add extra cost we had to supply and install a brand new manufacturers OEM lock, plus high security hook locks and latch shields from Locks 4 Vans LTD to get this vehicle back on the road, at least it didn’t have downtime in a body shop.
