About
With over 15 years as a Canine Behaviorist, I have gained deep insights into both canine psychology and human behavior. My university research focused on the canine olfactory system and its application in detecting cancer cells in humans, as well as other scent detection areas such as cadaver and drug detection.
In 2023, I embarked on a new journey by exploring coding with CODE Lancashire. After completing their intensive 12-week Software Development bootcamp, I successfully applied for a position within the company. As of October 2023, I serve as the Programme Success & Employer Engagement Coordinator for the team.
I have pursued various roles driven by my passion for knowledge and learning, resulting in a diverse skill set. Despite being a people person with a good sense of humor, I thrive in remote or hybrid work environments. After experiencing personal loss, I found balance in these setups, allowing me to focus without distractions. This has honed my self-motivation, creative thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
Mental wellbeing and meditation are important to me, helping to calm my mind and enhance my productivity. My recent ADHD diagnosis has given me insight into my unique strengths, including creativity, organizational skills, effective communication, and empathic leadership. I continually strive to push myself to new levels and understand my potential.
