"Is the HR job market improving?" 🤷♀️ I often get asked this....every week, multiple times. Earlier this year, (especially in Q2!) my response was less hopeful, though I tried to stay optimistic, sprinkling some of my natural, 'half full' personality throughout my response! But now, as we wrap up Q3, I believe things are looking much better! 🚀 Here’s why: 1. I've seen a surge in new roles, meetings, and positive conversations over the last month, more than Ive had since I started my business back in November 2023. 📈 2. HR talent is being snapped up fast—September has been full of "new job" announcements across my linkedin feed! Congrats to all of those who are starting new roles!! Im sure you have seen it too! 🎊 3. Many candidates that Ive been working with this year, who had been out of work for sometime (many for the first time in their careers!), have finally found their new role! Whoop whoop! 🎉 4. Candidates are now leaving roles, creating new opportunities, shifting away from redundancy-driven changes. Many candidates that have been active this year were immediate, I have seen an increase in employed candidates coming to market. I appreciate that this experience may not be the same for everyone and maybe I am trying to find more green shoots 🌿 than what truly exists, but for now I will take the wins and positive signs and ride the wave! 🌊 What are your thoughts?
