Trans Awareness Week at VCCP 🏳️⚧ 🌟This week we celebrated Trans Awareness Week with a special pronoun badge-making session in our London office, led by our DE&I Collective. ✨It was amazing to see so many of our employees come together and show support for the Trans+ and Gender nonconforming community ⭐The session wasn’t just about creating badges, it was about fostering inclusion, sparking conversations and celebrating the importance of pronouns in creating safer spaces for all.

👵🏻 Meet Daisy, the scammers’ worst nightmare! 🦾 New research from O2 (Telefónica UK) shows that one in five Brits experience a fraud attempt each week. To raise awareness of scam techniques and to waste scammers’ time, we created Daisy - an AI granny - to fight back against the fraudsters. 🤖 faith, our AI creative agency, used top tier conversational AI to create a realistic granny who’s been playing scammers at their own game, answering calls and keeping them on the line for hours with meandering stories about lemon meringue pie and knitting. The ultimate scambaiter! 🎣 We teamed up with pro scambaiter Jim Browning, for insight on how fraudsters operate and then set Daisy loose to frustrate the scammers and record their attempts to con her. 👴🏻 O2 are hard at work to thwart scammers efforts in other ways, using AI to block calls and update caller ID. ✨ Reflecting on an inspiring Black History Month at VCCP! ✨ Throughout October, our colleagues came together to celebrate Black history, culture, and community. Here’s a quick look back at an incredible month of connection and enrichment. 🍛 BIG BHM Munch 🍛 We kicked off with a flavourful feast! Colleagues enjoyed a range of West African and West Indian dishes. As usual, the queue didn’t stop the eager crowd, it was worth the wait! 🎬 Movie nights 🎬 Every Wednesday, our screening room was filled with powerful stories. From the pioneering Pressure, capturing the Black British experience, to Paris is Burning, shining a light on NYC’s underground ballroom scene, these films sparked important conversations and reflections. 🎶 BHM Jam 🎶 To wrap up the month, we turned up the vibes with live music, amazing food, and, of course, rum punch! A perfect way to celebrate together, bringing the month to a joyous close. Thank you to everyone who both organising and attending made these events unforgettable!

Butt Out!! 🚭🚭🚭 Introducing our latest behaviour change campaign for Keep Britain Tidy in partnership with Good Relations which aims to curb cigarette litter and protect UK waterways. Research by Keep Britain Tidy reveals that up to 5,000 cigarette butts end up in a single drain every year in Britain. With over 1,000,000 drains nationwide, cigarette litter has become a threat to UK waterways, harming wildlife and contaminating water. Our campaign, "Drains" shines a light on one of the biggest contributors: the hospitality sector, where many smokers still think drains are an acceptable disposal option. To change this, we transformed a local pub, The White Swan, into “The Poisoned Swan”. Inside the pub, specially designed posters and beer mats were used to remind smokers to dispose of cigarette butts responsibly, ensuring the message was both visible and memorable. The face of our campaign is none other than comedian Johnny Vegas, known for his role as Geoff Maltby on Benidorm. As a former smoker with a personal story (he was once fined for dropping a cigarette butt!), Johnny’s journey toward more responsible choices makes him the perfect voice for our plight.
