Meet the climate leaders of the future! In partnership with Common Purpose, the Youth Climate Leaders Programme offered 120 young changemakers masterclasses, career guidance, and invaluable connections. The High Ambition Coalition for Nature and People (HAC) are the Winners of the Earthshot Prize to Revive Our Oceans. With their toolkits, network and energy, they’re pushing governments to protect 30% of our oceans by 2030. With our support, HAC can sustain political momentum and continue turning words into action.

Coral so big it can be seen from space!   Estimated to be about 300 years old, it holds a unique historical record of ocean conditions from centuries past. Learn more about this exciting discovery from 2021 Earthshot Prize Finalist Pristine Seas and its implications for ocean conservation.

"We want more!" Nomzamo and Robert Irwin didn't hold back on stage at The Earthshot Prize Awards demanding a better future for the planet. Our impact so far has been enormous – but this is just the beginning, there is still so much work to do.

It’s time to step up conservation and boost biodiversity. Altyn Dala Conservation Initiative are the Winners of the Earthshot Prize to Protect and Restore Nature for their epic work improving the biodiversity of the Golden Steppe of Kazakhstan. Already, they have saved the Saiga Antelope from extinction. Next up, they plan to reintroduce wild horses and restore the steppe into the rich, dynamic ecosystem it once was.

Think it’s a load of hot air? Think again. With their breakthrough waste heat saving technology, Advanced Thermovoltaic Systems are the Winners of the Earthshot Prize to Fix Our Climate. Their powerful tech will reshape the future of energy and drastically reducing emissions. ATS are aiming to get their solution into over 100 industrial facilities and save a staggering 3.5 million tonnes of CO2 by 2030. Now that is a load of hot air...

Our impact in Africa goes beyond the Prize. That’s why we’ve announced £6M of partnerships that will ensure environmental innovation and climate creativity across the continent continues to flourish. The partnerships will support Africa-based Earthshot nominees with grants, a new accelerator programme, and a wealth of connections to speed them on their journey to scale. We are also establishing a new Sustainable Entrepreneurship Fellowship to empower the next generation of climate leaders and drive sustainable growth for years to come. At Earthshot Week 2024, we celebrated the world’s most ground-breaking solutions. Now, we have to ensure Africa gets the investment and opportunities it needs to bring those solutions to scale.
