RSE is pleased to announce the contract award for a FEED (Front End Engineering Design) study with Cornish Lithium Plc, in conjunction with Evove. The study will provide the concept design for a DLE (Direct Lithium Extraction) demonstration plant, utilising EVOVE’s world’s leading modular DLE technology. This innovative technology will provide a process to recover lithium from geothermal brine at a high efficiency and battery-grade purity. The facility will be designed around multiple modular units, which will be capable of rapid commercialisation and upscaling. RSE has developed a well-established relationship with EVOVE and we looking forward to working alongside their team to deliver the FEED study and future DLE projects. This project will additionally strengthen the partnership between RSE and the Cornish Lithium team, showcasing the strength of the collaboration to build a sustainable lithium supply for the UK.

The annual Black Isle Show, which was held in the showground outside our Muir of Ord facility between the 30th July and 1st of August, was proudly sponsored by RSE. Thousands of people attend the almost 180-year-old show over the course of the two days of different competitions and entertainment. This year's events included a parade of vintage tractors, a community dog show, a craft marquee trade stand, and a variety of food vendors. RSE is pleased that an event of this nature could be held so near to our production facilities and we hope that everyone who attended had a great day out!

RSE participated in this year’s Thames Water Raft Race! A team of 14 from RSE took part in the Thames Water Raft Race 2024 to raise donations for WaterAid. The event ran by Thames Water accumulated over £120,000! Thames Water Raft Race has been running for 25 years and was held at the Reading Rowing Club as a team event with Thames Water supply chain partners. This year's theme was 'Rafting for Gold' in celebration of the Summer Olympics in Paris. Kenn Preston, RSE Project Manager, commented: "After RSE sponsored a raft last year, a few of us went up to show our support. Inspired by this experience, we decided to get more involved and signed up again this year. As a team, we built a basic raft to demonstrate that you don’t need much to make a difference. We gathered volunteers from our branch, and everyone has been very engaged. On the event day, we received the self-build kit provided by Thames and a fantastic day was had by all, we’re already excited about next year; we have more ideas and plan to enter additional teams to raise greater awareness for WaterAid". Team RSE Basingstoke had a fantastic day working together in a team whilst being able to raise donations for WaterAid. WaterAid works to provide clean water, toilets and good hygiene for everyone, everywhere, in aid of breaking them free from poverty by supplying essential water access. For any last-minute donations please see the link below as it would be greatly appreciated: https://lnkd.in/eh83zWRK Well Done Team RSE Basingstoke!

In order to enhance our manufacturing capacities and fulfil the growing demand driven by the AMP8 investment from UK Water Companies, RSE has invested £1.2 million in cutting-edge robotic technology as part of this significant expansion. The robotic plasma cutting machine, which is positioned within our Deephaven facility, allows RSE to bring consistent high quality and speed to the cutting of steel sections and tubulars. The incorporation of input and output conveyor belts as well as laser measurements gives RSE the versatility and quality assurance to help meet growing demand whilst continuing to maintain our high standards. RSE’s investment in the Deephaven facility and new equipment underscores the company’s dedication to innovation and excellence in the water technology sector. This expansion will not only enhance RSE’s production capabilities but also support the industry’s drive towards more efficient and sustainable water treatment solutions. Stephen Slessor, CEO of RSE commented: “We’re thrilled to bring this new equipment to Deephaven, which represents a significant investment in the future of water technology. Not only does this expansion allow us to enhance our production capabilities, but it also brings new jobs and opportunities to the area. Team RSE completes Three Peaks (24hour) Challenge on 11th July 2024 The Three Peaks Challenge is an attempt to climb the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales, one after the other! These peaks are the highest in their countries, being Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England, and Snowdon in Wales. The three groups which made up Team RSE, RSE North RSE South and RSE Central, climbed the three highest mountains, covering a total of 26 miles and 9,843ft of vertical ascent. The team took on Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon over the course of 24-hours, climbing each peak in turn with a designated team member driving from one foot of the mountain to the next. This adventure was not just about pushing the team's limits, but also about raising vital donations for the Highland Hospice. The amazing charity Highland Hospice holds a forever place in RSE’s heart. It has offered resolute support at the most trying moments to innumerable families, including many of our own. It has been a beacon of hope and comfort. We are profoundly moved by their selfless service and commitment to our communities. RSE is beyond proud of everyone that took part on Thursday and grateful we were able to support the team's Three Peaks 24-hour Challenge and could give back to the Highland Hospice raising an incredible £8,920! Any last-minute donations would be greatly appreciated for this amazing cause, if you're able to support please see the link here: https://lnkd.in/egTkE2JM Well done Team RSE!
