Dispelling myths peddled by those that profit from fossil fuels and those who simply don't have clarity about the benefits of amazing heat pump technology, is right up there in terms of my favourite pastimes. I was delighted to have the opportunity to do exactly that when speaking with Rightmove, who along with Octopus Energy and many other top UK businesses have come together under the Sustainable Markets Initiative to speed up the creation of Cleantech homes across the UK. The delivery of low carbon technology, electrifying homes with Cleantech such as heat pumps, solar and batteries can slash energy bills by upwards of 40%, increase property value by 16% and vitally, reduce harmful emissions that damage heath and wellbeing in our communities. Whilst you're here - did you know the satisfaction of people living in a property with heat pumps is 17% higher that those who have a gas boiler, and why wouldn't it be? It's cleaner, its cheaper to run, it's easier to maintain, it lasts longer... and so on.
