I spent the weekend working on PIRATE Night. 🏴☠️ Here is a quick update: 👉 Structure of the Day I will reveal more soon, but here is my recommendation for your planning. Doors open at 17:30. Be there at the latest at 18:30. Good stuff will be happening throughout the evening. Don't leave before 23:00 - the party will continue well past midnight. 👉 International Participants Turns out more people are coming to PIRATE Night from afar than I had anticipated. Right now, we are expecting 10% international participants (there will be a whole delegation from Latvia, for example). 😱 👉 Startup Booths All startups that received a free startup booth have been notified. You can still get a paid one. Just reach out. 👉 Event in Event Christian from MASTERMIND MOVEMENT reached out to ask whether they can hold a small event during PIRATE Night. Yes, you absolutely can. PIRATE Night is a platform for connecting people. Bringing more of the right people and adding value will make the event better for everyone. If you want to bring your community to PIRATE Night and create an event in the event, let's talk. 👉 A Burn? One of the most asked questions is whether there will be a Burn in the evening. The answer is "no". The Last Burn happened at the last PIRATE Summit. But we might have something else planned. And it might involve fire. Or not. 🤔😉 👉 What you can do!? I am thankful for all the people asking about what they can do to make the event better. The most important thing: Spread the word! Bring the right people. That's the most critical ingredient for making the event magical. And we got plenty of space. It would be great if people would get their ticket soon, as that would help our planning. Paul Cheek is a senior lecturer at the business school at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, considered the best technical university in the world. He also serves as executive director of the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship, where he is responsible for strategy, vision, and operational plans, as well as oversight of flagship projects supporting entrepreneurship. In 2021, he was included in the prestigious Forbes 30 under 30 list of the most influential young people in the business world. He is one of the world's most respected experts in innovation-based entrepreneurship and identifying new business opportunities. In his career, Cheek has taught, mentored, and advised thousands of entrepreneurs around the world, from small startups to Fortune 500 organizations.
