Meet laura crane, our keynote speaker for our NextGen Networking event in October! Laura, 29, is a surfer from North Devon and the first British woman to surf the huge waves at Nazare, Portugal. She started surfing at 12 and by 15, she had big-name sponsors and was travelling the world. But at 21, she quit professional surfing to protect her happiness and mental health. The pressure to focus more on her looks than her talent made her give it all up. After some time off, Laura returned to surfing and fell in love with it again. She’s now breaking barriers at Nazare, making history in the sport once more. The NextGeneration Network is back!
