From coppicing in Cardiff 🌳 donating in the Dead Sea 🏖️ and supporting soup kitchens in Singapore 🥣 our #GivingForGood initiatives are in full swing around the globe. IHG Hotels & Resorts marks every September as Giving For Good month, just one of our Journey To Tomorrow commitments. Colleagues are given the opportunity to volunteer with local communities and support charities that operate daily to help make a difference to those around us. Incoming: a long list of amazing work done by some of our hotels... 🍽️ InterContinental Berlin: prepared and served dinner to parents of seriously ill children, giving the parents a well deserved break whilst their children received treatment at nearby clinics. 👣 Kimpton Charlotte Square & InterContinental The George: two hotels came together to walk 20km in support of Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH). 🧸 InterContinental Muscat: visited a local children's hospital to deliver gifts and brighten up everyone's day. 📿 Singapore: colleagues from a range of hotels partnered with Willing Hearts, Singapore’s leading soup kitchen charity organisation, to create upcycled T-shirt bracelets at the Association for Persons with Special Needs centre (APSN) for adults. 🚴♂️ voco St. David's Cardiff: colleagues complete virtual miles on the static bike in the hotel lobby in support of Wales Coastal Path Bike-a-thon as well as supporting Cardiff Council cutting down trees to make way for new shoots - all in the name of helping the environment and sustainability. 🎒 Holiday Inn Resort Dead Sea Jordon: donated rucksacks and stationary supplies to local children.

Agung Lestari joined IHG Hotels & Resorts in 2021 as an intern within the housekeeping department at Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach 🏖️ Fast-forward three years, and she is now - proudly - a permanent member of the team.
