We recently sat down with Emma Maleti, Head of Customer Success for EMEA at 6sense, to hear her insights on the pivotal role of customer success. As Emma puts it, "A strong and effective Customer Success organisation enables your product to truly sell itself. Word of mouth remains a powerful force in shaping brand perception and a dedicated CS department can profoundly impact the buzz surrounding your offerings. Invest in customer success and watch your reputation and your business thrive" Customer Success Managers wear many hats - consultants, project managers and business advisors. Each role demands strong commercial acumen and an unwavering drive to help customers reach their goals. Emma passionately states that "As a business, you must invest in your customers with a dedicated department and readily available resources because your customers become your case studies, showcasing the value of your product. This commitment is why 6sense introduced our 6dimensional Success Model. It's designed to provide customers with all the tools they need to maximise their investment in 6sense, supported by 6 key programs that empower customers at every stage of their journey." One of the 6 programs is Customer Success. Emma explains that "as a CSM, you're the face of both your customers and your business. Passion for helping your customers succeed is essential because their success is your success. When they win, you win. It's really that simple!" So, what makes a standout Customer Success Manager? Emma highlights two crucial qualities for a standout CSM: curiosity and organisation. "Curiosity is key in customer success. It drives us to understand our customers better, find creative solutions and constantly improve their experience. When we're curious, we can truly help our customers thrive," she explained. Emma also emphasises the importance of organisation. "Once you're organised, you can better prioritise your time and deliver the best for your customer. To be a successful CSM you need to be a self-starter, self-driver and results-driven," she advises. "By blending curiosity with organisation, a CSM can effectively support their customers and drive mutual success." Looking ahead, Emma expresses excitement about the future of 6sense and the EMEA Success department.     “The beauty of partnerships is that it’s so intricate, you’re not just representing your company externally but also representing your partners internally, and making sure that knowledge is shared on both sides ” 💡 We sat down with Najma Tabasum, the new Head of Partnerships UKI & Nordics at Aircall to hear more about her journey into partnerships, advice for remaining a top performer… Starting off in new business acquisition, Najma swiftly made the transition into partnerships seeing the need to collaborate with other businesses in the tech ecosystem to deliver value to the end customer through sustained relationships 🙌 “Partnerships is extremely multifaceted, you’re working with various teams day in day out. There isn’t a one-size fits all model. What I’m looking at creating is a sustainable approach, identifying three to four core success metrics that can be repeated to build a beneficial engine” Najma credits her engineering degree for her deep understanding of technical products and the opportunity  to work in various new business roles, where she  discovered the value  of partnerships & leveraging existing relationships to help scale businesses further 💥 Currently 3 weeks into her new role at Aircall as the Head of Partnerships - UKI & Nordics with the goal of enriching and scaling the Aircall partner footprint in the region, she would also love to see more women in the tech partnership space “Aircall is a partnerships-forward company with a clear understanding of where we stand in the user’s tech stack.
