This comes shortly after a similar fine was issued to Starling Bank in October 2024.   Metro had implemented an Automated Transaction Monitoring System (“ATMS”) to monitor customer transactions however, serious deficiencies in the set-up, operation and oversight of ATMS were not identified by Metro, or remediated within an adequate period of time.
