In December, Farmacy had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with house Goals House during COP28 in Dubai, where we took on the challenge of creating the first-ever local, organic, plant-based menu for the roaming clubhouse. With our passion for sustainable dining, we teamed up with our partners Watermelon Market to get the freshest ingredients from local farms and deliver an unforgettable culinary experience to delegates.   Our partnership with Goals House allowed us to provide nourishing meals to over 7k attendees throughout the week. We're proud to have showcased the fantastic produce of enterprises like Emirates Bio Farm EBF who are leading the way in agroecology and organic farming in the Middle East.   While discussions around global warming may raise doubts about their efficacy, there's no denying the impact of each bite we served in nurturing both bodies and landscapes. It was also our privilege during COP28 to host Vandana Shiva — the world-renown scholar and environmental campaigner. In her native India, her tireless efforts have served to protect farmers from the crippling debts that dependence on industrial chemicals can bind them in.   A big shoutout to the amazing team at Freuds Group for inviting us to be a part of this mission. When building a brand community is KEY 🔑. Curating events with a group of likeminded gals that share the same passions and interest is something I value for both brands I manage and last night just reminds me WHY!!! Farmacy has to be one of my top locations in London for hosting brand (an personal) events. The bespoke menu using Cocos Organic gut friendly, plant-based coconut products just totally hit the brief. From the gin bramble welcome cocktail, spirulina soup, gluten free flatbread with whipped coconut spread, falafel waffle with riatia and the raspberry tart with a coconut yoghurt ice cream; every single dish was created with love, using vegan, biodynamic ingredients with an abundance plants to help support a healthy gut. With an informative welcome talk from Dr Frankie to help us understand the importance of our gut microbiome and what we can do to help our internal flora thrived it’s fair to say last nights Gut Health social with GLO. was an absolute dream. ⭐ The 2023 list of Top 50 Vegan Restaurants in the world has been released by abillion. Huge congrats to all, particularly Mildreds, Purezza, Mallow, Farmacy and Unity Diner. I've been privileged to not only delight myself with their food in repeated occasions, but to also work closely with them through the brightest and toughest of times. Unequivocally, behind great brands and great food, there are always great humans. 🍽 What other London restaurants should have been featured?
