Lingfield Wastewater Treatment Works in Surrey is approximately 2km north of Lingfield Park Racecourse. The catchment for the works serves the population of Lingfield and surrounding villages. As one of Southern Water's Delivery Partners for its AMP6 and AMP7 Capital Investment programmes, CMDP - JV (a joint venture between Costain and MWH Treatment) is delivering a range of schemes to maintain and improve Southern Water’s water supply and waste #water treatment works. 💧 At Lingfield, we're upgrading the site and building new assets that will improve the quality of treated water going back to the environment, making sure Southern Water can meet the new environmental standards set out by the Environment Agency in the Water Industry National Environment Programme (WINEP3). Horsham New Wastewater Treatment Works is Southern Water's multi-million pound upgrade to boost the water quality of the River Arun and cater for the significant population growth forecast. Bats have found a snug new home along the new A30 dual carriageway in Cornwall. Thanks to a concerted effort by National Highways, Cornwall Environmental Consultants and our team, a special bat-friendly dwelling was built near the road early last year. 🦇 Two years on and we've spotted Lesser horseshoe bats making their home there. Constructed with Cornish stone and local slate, it also attracts a variety of bat species like brown long-eared and common pipistrelle and myotis species.
