After undergoing the largest known ZooKeeper to KRaft migration in history, Confluent Cloud is now 100% KRaft, so there is no reason for you not to be as well! Switching to KRaft (with no impact on customer SLAs!) has enabled us to streamline our architecture, improve our scalability, and stabilize operations across our cloud clusters. This high-stakes battle testing on our thousands of clusters proves without a doubt that KRaft is ready for your production workloads, whether you operate a single cluster or hundreds. Learn how to migrate manually, or automate via Confluent for Kubernetes (CFK) or Ansible Playbooks in the latest blog ➡️ https://cnfl.io/4049KPh

To fix bad data in batch processing, you can cut the data out, replace it, and run it again. But this doesn’t work with immutable event streams. Your best bet with them is to: 1. Prevent bad data from getting into your system into the first place 2. Design your events properly so that your bad data problems will be easier to address In Part 2 of his series on bad data in event streams, Adam Bellemare addresses the second option (event design), and also shows the choices available to you if you have unavoidably contaminated your stream.
