China's JINGDONG Logistics is the second strongest brand ranked, recording a 1% rise in brand value to USD3.5 billion along with an improved brand strength rating of AAA and a BSI score of 85.2 of 100. MTR Corporation (Australia) ranks third, with a 3% decline in brand value to USD3.5 billion, retaining its AAA- rating and a BSI score of 83.1 of 100. World’s most valuable football club brand Real Madrid C.F. is naturally the most valuable football brand in its home country, Spain. Real Madrid’s brand value is now higher than Manchester City Football Club. Several of Spain’s 10 most valuable football club brands have declined in brand value, including Club Atlético de Madrid and Sevilla FC, although both held onto their 3rd and 4th rankings. Villarreal CF, SAD and Real Sociedad were not so resilient, both falling two places to 8th and 9th most valuable Spanish football brands. It’s not all downhill, however - despite ongoing financial challenges, FC Barcelona holds onto its second-highest ranking while Peña Athletic Club de Bilbao "Nueva York" jumps three spots to 5th place following a 15% brand value increase. While #France may be leading Europe in #Olympic gold medals at #Paris2024, new data from Brand Finance reveals that the host nation's population is less engaged with the Olympics than other European countries. This new data shows that the #Nordic nations have some of the highest levels of Olympic engagement, with #Finland leading among all countries surveyed at nearly 40% of its population, followed by #Sweden and #Norway, both at around 25%. #Italy ranks second in Europe with 30% of its population following the Olympics, with Poland close behind at 27%. The #UK, #Spain, #Switzerland, and Germany all sit at around 20%. Outside of Europe, #China is close behind Finland with 33% of its population following the Olympics. #SouthKorea and #Malaysia also reports high levels of Olympic interest, both at 30%. In the #Americas, it might be surprising to learn that the #USA, despite being a medal powerhouse, has a slightly smaller Olympic following (20%) compared to #Canada (21%). This data is analysis of Brand Finance's latest #sports research study, which collected insights into fans’ perceptions of multiple sports, leagues, competitions and clubs, and their respective engagement patterns. The study surveyed 13,000 fans across 12 markets and 18 different sports.

Tsingtao Brewery Co., Ltd brews success as the world's strongest beer brand ranked this year, overtaking The HEINEKEN Company to claim the top spot. Tsingtao’s Brand Strength Index (BSI) score is 87.0 points of 100 and the Chinese beer company earned an AAA brand strength rating. Dutch brand The HEINEKEN Company maintains its position from 2023 as the second strongest beer brand ranked, securing a BSI score of 85.9 points of 100 and an AAA rating. The third strongest beer brand ranked this year is Corona Constellation Brands with an enhanced brand strength rating of AAA and a BSI score of 85.9 of 100. Guangzhou Pharmaceutical remains as the most valuable Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) #chinese #pharma #brand ranked, according to Brand Finance’s Chinese Pharma 2024 report released recently. Guangzhou Pharmaceutical leads with a brand value increase of 11% to USD2.5 billion, giving the brand a substantial lead over the other TCM brands ranked. Runner up is Yunnan Baiyao Group Co., Ltd, though the brand recorded a decline in value of 0.5% to USD822 million. In the third position is China Resource Sanjiu Medical & Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd, with a brand value growth of 12% to USD340 million. Rounding up the top five TCM brands are Beijing Tong Ren Tang (NL), with a brand value increase of 17% to USD325 million, and Pientzehuang(Zhangzhou) Pharmaceutical Co. Sinopharm is still the most valuable #chinese #pharma brand ranked, according to Brand Finance’s Chinese Pharma 15 2024 report. Though the brand’s value recorded a decrease of 6% to USD3.6 billion, Sinopharm was able to hold on to its leading position with a focus on its R&D ventures. Following behind is Guangzhou Pharmaceutical, with a brand value increase of 11% to USD2.5 billion in line with steps of diversifying its product range and reach.
