UI Health Scientist Honored by United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology
Dr. Carlos A. Murga-Zamalloa, a clinician-scientist in the Department of Pathology at UI Health, has been awarded the prestigious 2025 Ramzi S. Cotran Young Investigator Award, presented by the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology (USCAP). This award recognizes a body of work that has significantly advanced the diagnosis and understanding of human disease and is considered one of the most distinguished honors for early-career investigators in pathology worldwide.
