Netflix is getting off the Partner Track: The streamer has cancelled the Arden Cho-starring legal drama after one season, TVLine has confirmed.
The series, which debuted Aug. 26, followed Ingrid Yun (played by Teen Wolf vet Cho), “a 1st generation Korean American and the first lawyer in her family, [who] experiences the trials and tribulations of excelling at the prestigious (but old school) law firm, Parsons Valentine,” per the official synopsis. “With the support of her friends, she battles through workplace challenges to break through the glass ceiling on her path to become partner. But will her drive and ambition leave room for love?”
The cast also included Bradley Gibson, Alexandra Turshen, Dominic Sherwood, Rob Heaps, Nolan Gerard Funk, Matthew Rauch and Roby Attal.

I’m actually really disappointed. I enjoyed the show.
That sucks. I liked this one but I’m not shocked about the decision. Oh well.
Totally sad. This was a good one and I never comment!
that sucks, it was such a cute show
okay now i’m officially P’O’d!!!! This was a great show and i’m in total disbelief. I would threaten to stop my subscription if i wasn’t using my friend’s account.
I literally binged this over the weekend. I can’t watch anything on Netflix without it ending up as canceled.
Not that surprised, this show had a non-existential marketing campaigning and ill-timed release, had it been properly advertised and found a release close to valentines day or something like that it could’ve had a shot.
Also, Arden’s character was awful, I remember thinking the whole time ‘is she the villain of the show?’ and Sherwood as her main love interest was terrible too — and whoever thought that Zane Phillips should play a minor character should be in jail.
Not surprising. Wasn’t a well written show. Hopefully see the actors in better productions in future.
This show was horrible. The writing was terrible and the only two side characters were remotely likeable. It was like a teenager wrote it.
Every show will have its fans and I’m sorry to those who enjoyed this show but , in my opinion, it was amateur hour across the board. Hope all the folks working on it grow from the experience and go on to better projects.
Not surprised. Even though the show was appealing, if they wanted to renew it they would’ve announced it sooner. Such a shame they don’t want to give it another chance. Especially with an Asian woman leading it when inclusion is important.
I just browsed over this yesterday and thought about watching it, glad I came across this before I started… oh well. Netflix gon netflix.
This is why I’m going to cancel my Netflix every time there’s a show that I like they never pick it up for a another season.
I feel like Netflix is just going to be Stranger Things, Emily in Paris, and reality shows like Is It Cake, Nailed It, The Circle, and Love Is Blind.
Nailed It was cancelled I believe – the most recent series is the last.
Wow! Shocked to hear this series flopped. Biggest disappointment since Teenage Bounty Hunters.
That is terrible news. This was actually an entertaining, binge-worthy series that should’ve had a second season.
I really enjoyed all the characters! Boo Netflix!!! How can we get this back?I hope this helps bring back the show.
I’ve been waiting for this movie for a long time but it’s not finished yet
Watched the series a bunch of times. Each time, I picked up on more of the story. Each time it became more addictive.
Cast all did a wonderful job with the 10 episode. The chemistry between Ingrid and Jeff left me in love with the story. Was really looking forward to Season 2. So sad that its not happening. Thank you to all of the cast for a great performance.
I was surprised that they cancelled the show after the cliffhanger ending. I had just told my daughter to watch it, as I found the characters on point and the show enjoyable. Netflix is garnering a rather nasty reputation for cancellations…. No wonder they are floundering. No one wants to become invested in something that has no follow through. Shame.
This was such an enjoyable and rewarding read! It’s not only informative but also written in a way that keeps you hooked
