Las Vegas has an official Non-Disclosure Agreement and these are the best shows to test its limits
By Jeremy Long
Las Vegas has developed a reputation as the ultimate adult playground. The city offers everyday, hardworking people a chance to let off steam and revel in well-earned debauchery. Whether it’s a hangover or explaining those ATM overdraft fees to your spouse nothing compares to the betrayal of someone in your group going against the Vegas motto: “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.”
Sin City has always been a place where secrets are kept, and stories are born (or denied), but now there's a way that visitors can ensure their adult adventures can stay hush-hush.
A few brilliant legal minds at Casino.org have put together a document that may one day be as revered as the Declaration of Independence: the official Vegas Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). This is a game-changing and innovative twist on discretion that will no doubt make even the biggest gossip king or queen think twice before spilling Vegas secrets.
The mostly tongue-in-cheek agreement is straight-forward from the beginning:
"For the purpose of preventing the unauthorized disclosure of Confidential Information as defined below. The Parties agree to enter into a confidential relationship concerning the disclosure of certain confidential information relating to certain events that may or may not happen in Las Vegas..."
The tricky part for Las Vegas partygoers is defining exactly what "confidential information" is and what it isn't. This is where the Vegas NDA becomes extremely useful. Tell everyone you want about seeing the fountain show at the Bellagio or the group trip to the Grand Canyon. It's outlined and agreed upon that well-known Las Vegas attractions and concerts are open for anyone to speak on.
But what about the third time you signed up to watch a Chippendale show? No one better speak a word to your Gram Gram about it or they'll face the wrath of the Vegas NDA, because it clearly states:
"For purposes of this Agreement, "Confidential Information" shall include all information or content, shared verbally and/or in writing, held in video or picture format created in Las Vegas, that has or could have reputational value in relation to either Party, including, but not limited to, any Chippendale shows attended (including the number of shows attended), cocktail/beer/liquor consumption, gambling losses..."
Given the newfound freedom of the Vegas NDA, you and your group will undoubtedly be looking to test the limits of what you can, and can't, talk about. So what are the best sexy shows in Las Vegas where you can put this legal document to the test?
Fantasy at Luxor
Fantasy is one of the longest-running burlesque shows in Las Vegas. It features a drop-dead gorgeous cast of dancers who sizzle their way through a number of sultry performances with provocative choreography. Combine that with stirring vocals of lead singer Lorena Peril and you'll start to understand why the theater at Luxor Hotel and Casino is always full. The show is regularly honored during award season as one of the best-produced and well-received adult programs on the Strip.
Australia's Thunder From Down Under at Excalibur
A small, intimate theater at Excalibur is home to Australia's Thunder From Down Under, an over-the-top, shriek-until-your-lungs-hurt male revue made famous by the washboard abs and bulging... um... muscles of this Australian dream boat line-up. The atmosphere is always electric, and the show is extra raunchy, just as the audiences in Vegas demand. These chiseled dancers inject a bit of humor and fun into each show, and for a few lucky audience members, the program gets exceptionally interactive.
Rouge at The Strat
Rouge is making a valid claim to the title of "Sexiest Show in Vegas." It combines acrobatics, dancers, and air-defying provocateurs to create a seductive and erotic experience. The show can sometimes feel overlooked because of its location at The Strat, so visitors who never leave the center of The Strip can miss out on an unbelievably sexy good time. That means you and your group will have more of these beautiful performers to yourselves.
Puppetry of the Penis at The Erotic Heritage Museum
Let's start with the not-so-obvious: this is a comedy show. Another export from Australia (what are they putting in the water Down Under?), Puppetry of the Penis is an artful, thought-provoking performance piece housed at Sin City's Erotic Heritage Museum, which is itself a provocative location.
And now to state the painfully obvious: this is a wild version of penis origami. What is "penis origami"? We're glad you asked: the stars of this weirdly wonderful show twist and scoop their privates into imaginatively titled creations such as "The Eiffel Tower," "The Lochness Monster," and "The Hamburger." Buy a few tickets, sign the Vegas NDA, and get ready to discuss what you've just seen over drinks at The Laundry Room.
Magic Mike Live at SAHARA Las Vegas
It's been over a decade since 'Magic Mike' the movie burst onto the film scene and created a worldwide phenomenon while making an international star of Channing Tatum. The movie then spawned a successful movie sequel and a male revue that took the Vegas Strip by storm.
While the live show is based on the hit movies, it stands on its own merits by creating an entertaining and magical experience for all of the sometimes-blushing, always-screaming fans that fill the theater at SAHARA Las Vegas. The cast is packed with eye candy in an interactive, fast-paced, and humorously bawdy program that you'll want to tell people about, but can't, thanks to the handy Vegas NDA you signed before your trip.
